Imagie the reaction if it was suggested this be a toll road.
Something similar to this I assume.

I can't stand the following in peak hour:

Robe terrace main north intersection
Main north and nottage terrace intersection
Main north and grand junction road intersection

These atrocious bottlenecks result in 1 hour and 15 minute travel times to or from work in peak hour.

On a weekend, the same trip takes me 35 minutes.

My solution is I am now going to buy in Alberton.

Traffic jams and hour + long commutes for work.
How I dont miss thee, only positive working night shift.

20 minutes from Bedford to Felixstow at 11PM and 40 minutes return in the morning.
No traffic at night and then all traffic heading north when I'm heading south in the morning.

Does anyone actually use south road?

As a semi frequent visitor to Adelaide, only once have we ever needed to use it to make a quick stop before leaving.

We enjoyed arriving home at midnight.

What is going on in west indies cricket is a tragedy. Genuinely sad. Jason Holder and Bravo the only players who give any semblance of a shit.
I heard on the radio the other day they think that due to incompetence of the WI cricket board, the West Indies may disband and that would be a sad day for world cricket.

The thought of the Virgin Islands putting together a test side would be hilarious but.

I think they will disband at this rate. Funding drying up, interest nonexistent. The WI players only care for the T20 and the quick cash it brings. Chris Gayle simply told the WI board that he didn't want to play in the test as he was more interested in T20. WI cricket is in its final moments.

My folks live on south road between regency and torrens rd. Still no idea if they are gonna get their house bought by the government.
Nice block of land bought by my grandparents when they first came to the country will be sad to see it go. The traffic will be unbearable to live on.

Darlington is the worst. Even off-peak

Old farts like me bang on about how sad it is but Australia vs West Indies Tests in the 90's were as epic as any Tests ever.

I think the reason it makes me sad is just the nostalgia kick I get of thinking about the old days when the West Indies were awesome.

They used to all look like gladiators on a cricket field. Now they are a joke, I really do hope they get their act together because we need more competitive test playing nations, not less.

Sad indeed.

His 2010 series was immense, a one man show.

South road aint that bad if you avoid 730-9 and 4- 5 30

I found in the few times i have driven South Road in peak hour is that the traffic disappears just after the cross road bridge.

I had to go to port road, it took 45 minutes to get from the turn at tonsley to the cross road bridge and then 10 minutes to get to port road.

The theme this week in the song contest thread is 2010 to present, and I'm torn between nominating Bruce Springsteen, Richie Sambora, or AC/DC...

Did you know that Whitney Houston's debut LP, called simply Whitney Houston, had four number one singles on it? It's hard to choose a favourite among so many great tracks...but The Greatest Love of All is one of the best, most powerful songs ever written about self-preservation and dignity. Its universal message crosses all boundaries and instills one with the hope that it's not too late to better ourselves. Since it's impossible in this world we live in to empathize with others, we can always empathize with ourselves. It's an important message. Crucial really...as beautifully stated on the album.

Now excuse me...I have to go get my chainsaw serviced.
