I don't think Disney wanted original ideas for Star Wars, I doubt any director would've had freedom to do anything unusual in restarting a franchise that has already had one bad restart.

Marvel is probably the template here for how Disney will treat Star Wars - predictable `blockbuster' films, with more freedom of content in smaller side films and maybe TV series.

Colin Trevorrow is directing Star Wars: Episode IX, he just did Jurassic World so doesn't fill me with excitement, hopefully he and Rian will fix the plot because JJ and Kasdan seemed to have trouble with original ideas.

btw why in the OT Han always called his ship 'Millennium Falcon' the 'fallcon 'and now he says 'fowlcon'

Rian is directing 8 but he is writing the scripts for both movies

the new movie was never going to live up to my expectations , I liked the movie and the new actors and yeah to me it's a modern day generic Disney predictable `blockbuster' film but as a Star Wars fan left disappointed with the rehash, unnecessary so called fan service and worry about future direction , but I seem to be a minority but hey I hate modern day Super hero movies and most 'blockbusters', all flash and paint by the numbers

It's like 3 bucks too. I might give it a miss for now after wearing my patience thin with the gameplay/combat. A bit clunky for mine.

WHYY, Why does every Scifi show/movie have to involve everything being built by some ancient race of super tech people who died out under mysterious circumstances millennia ago.

It's such an overused lazy trope.

Here's a helpful tip, F5 is quick load and F4 is quick save, be careful, screwed myself over so many times as every other game I have played has quick save on F5, last night I accidentally hit quick load instead of save, quit as I wasn't in the mood to repeat the previous 30 mins

Hmm, might load it up now and see if I can rebind those keys....

Attack the Block is one of the most criminally under rated films of all time.

I did this yesterday in KOTOR after walking from one end of the underwater Kolto facility to the other, where you move at snail pace in the enviro suit. I got so angry I had to take five minutes to compose myself.

I did it last. Forced to party with that utter pleb, Grandpa Simpson-tier old man Jolee just to have another Jedi in the party, as Bastila was obviously unavailable. Kashyyyk was also a bitch at a certain point because there were like no points you could transit to the Ebon Hawk and I switched my party around, dropped Jolee because he's an annoying old ****er but it turns out you needed him to get through that shield/portal thing in the jungle. Took like 10 minutes to run to the Ebon Hawk and back.

Did I mention Jolee was annoying? And Carth. **** Carth. Shut up about your family already, NO ONE CARES.

Carth is a dick, Jolee is alright but he's always giving you shitty advice and lectures on absolutely everything (see Carth). Canderous, Zaalbar and Bastila are the best. Zaalbar is so overpowered it's not funny. Stack him with strength and he will solo absolutely anything, he's got a shitload of HP.

Mission is good fun, I enjoy her constant trolling of whoever else you're paired up with. I've only ever played as light side but I'm sure HK-47 would be quality if you're playing as dark side.

Mish was good. I did the Leviathan escape with her and she basically just reks the Sith guards.

I never got the HK droid and I killed the fallen jedi on Dantooine. Miss out on much?

HK droid probably has the best dialogue with your character, especially after [the major twist in the middle of the game which I can't be bothered spoiler tagging]. Not really missing out on anything interesting with Juhani, although she is a pretty kickass party member. Much better than Jolee as the alternative Jedi option.

Juhani is a pointless character who struggles with the dark side and her anger but it's all very uninteresting.
