enjoyed his work on jjj back in the day it was somewhat listenable

I listened to him a bit on JJJ but I have never really listened to much breakfast radio on music stations since I was about 17, with juiced and drugged up DJ's yelling at me at 6 or 7 am. But in 2006 he moved across to ABC Radio 702 Sydney's morning show ( equivalent of Matt and David on 891), I was skeptical at first, but he was excellent, I listed for 5 years before moving back to SA and he lasted until end of 2013, before retiring from breakfast radio.

It's very good, the noir element puts it above just being a super hero show and the villain is one of the best conceived.

I watched Jessica Jones hearing it was some noir style superhero series with a heavy element of sex and risque material.

What I got was a couple of people have a sex scene fully clothed. Whilst under the sheets. Didn't deliver.

It's not about titilation, it is about something that brands itself with a dark and adult tone, but when the moment comes to deliver, the scenes are borderline home and away.

No different to an action film where people are getting puched and kicked and stabbed and shot, yet not an ounce of blood is seen.

Although in America, its almost illegal to not show uber gore and violence, whilst a tit can lead to boycott.

Yeah, I didn't ever see it advertised that way. The whole show is post feminist disgust with those urges, without hiding them. That's the adult side, it shows the boring reality and neccesity of the sex act (the toilet waddle) etc. rather than the fireworks.

I didn't watch it for sex scenes, it just made it hard (bad choice of words) to take seriously.

Just like the Transporter 2 was hard to take seriously when Jason Statham was belting people up with a firehose and not even a single black eye was sustained. It is a total nuke the fridge moment.
