A change.org petition was responsible for sending the rapist and murderer of my young cousin back to solitary confinement, after it leaked he was released in to general population for being a role model prisoner. Dudes who rape girls and then fill their school bag with bricks and drown them are not role models.

Don't underestimate these things.

I hate things like change.org as the reality is the mob mentality is a pretty low benchmark.

On the flip side I have very little sympathy for criminals. We have 7 billion people on the planet and the reality is life is cheap (biologically). So why do we seek rehab or release of these types.

Perhaps our justice system needs a harder look at itself especially in light of reoffending criminals and escalation of crime by individuals. But I would resist any say or influence by the mob. That's why we have courts separate to our executive government.

I was listening to a Rooster Teeth podcast in like 2009 when that show first came out where they were all saying it was garbage and that it would ruin Amy Poehler's career. Strong prediction. Seven seasons later Chris Pratt has gone from nobody to megastar and Ansari and Aubrey Plaza are doing very well for themselves too.
