Exception to the rule was any 80s music with an overblown yet nuanced production style, ala Def Leppard. Nothing less than 320 does Hysteria justice.

... And Justice for All is a 64kb rip any day of the week.

Currently listening to Seventh Son of a Seventh Son at 64 and loving.

Living on a razors edge, balancing on the edge, ya know? Ya knoooow?!

Fosters, AC/DC Shiraz & a 64kb Music Collection.. it does make sense

People may not necessary agree with edgie's lifestyle, but he seems like a man who is happy and enjoys life.
My own life has been rather dull lately, I might just convert my library to 64kbps, and join edgieism. :D

A bloke just came in to work and complemented me on the music. He didn't even care it was 64. We then dissected the album Countdown to Extinction. Classic album.

HAY Guyz

I'm listening to am broadcast songs that I copied onto cassette tape.

New hipster stuff dudes

Nothing inherently "hipster" about cassette's. There was a time when these were a perfectly viable format, some bands releasing cassette only demo's. Umbrella Music (an Adelaide shop of times past) had a wall of such cassette's. Also, cassette's were a simple way of trading music (via classified ads in fanzines) with people at all points of the globe. Viva la cassette!!

They are hipster because they are totally unnecessary. Yet gloriously fun.

This piece of Aussie brilliance was originally released on cassette only in 1985. Viva cassettes!!

I used to write away to bands for a t-shirt or whatever. They'd pretty much always throw in a cassette full of their demos and stuff like that. Loved 'em.

What sound system should I put in the HQ when the time and need arises? Thinking of upgrading from 18 to 22 transistors.

CD's are almost as antiquated now, I have a 4 track tascam portastudio that uses cassettes I've kept it for the mere analog aspect & recording backwards etc.

Would fetch more than a digital 8 track I have if I were to sell it
