Reminds me of this classic bit from Seinfeld when Jerry gets a call at home from a telemarketer.
Jerry: This isn’t a good time.
Telemarketer: When would be a good time to call back, sir?
Jerry: I have an idea, why don’t you give me your home number and I’ll call you back later?
Telemarketer: Umm, we’re not allowed to do that.
Jerry: Oh, I guess because you don’t want strangers calling you at home.
Telemarketer: Umm, no.
Jerry: Well, now you know how I feel.

With the WA state election coming up in the next couple of weeks I've been getting robo calls around the same time every day. They never seem to leave a message (their machine doesn't want to talk to a mere machine) and if you pick up the phone and don't say anything the call soon disconnects.
