Anyone seen it? Pretty spooky stuff. Don't know if I can ever watch TV again:D

The sequel will probably have the ring on a website...and then what will you do? One minute you're opening the latest lewd offering on the General Talk board, and the next you have seven days to live!

We saw Red Dragon last night and The Ring was one of the previews. We'll be going to see it! For some reason we keep going to see the scary ones.

Red Dragon was excellent. I would try and find the appropriate thread to say so but can't be bothered. I thought it impossible but I love Edward Norton even more now!

I was looking forward to seeing it but then I saw that Lions Forever gave away the ending to "The Ring" in her thread.

Sounded pretty scary, but doctors and nurses coming and using ice to remove the ring doesn't sound like a really clever twist.

Huh? Did I miss the ending.

Anyway too far removed from reality. Its so not believeable that its hard to be scared by it.

Naomis got great high beams though.

Haven't seen it yet, but my sister just saw it tonight and said it really freaked her out.

Looks like I'll have to go see this one. :)

Ahh.. its nothing but a Hollywood remake of a Japanese film "Ringu" (i.e the Ring) from a few years ago.

Probably wont be anywhere near as good either...

*Grendel in cultural elitist mode*... ;)

Dunno what bloody movie she was watching

Twas a bloody scary movie thats for sure. Its the first movie that ive come out of generally freaked out. Bloody disturbing thats for sure.

Whats even more queer is this:

We bought a new tv about 3 months back, and it seems to have a mind of its own. Say if you turn it off, about 45 minutes later it will turn itself back on again. It goes thru a set routine, it will turn on, then off, then on again, then switch from Fox, to VCR1, back to Fox, and then stay on Fox. I usually end up getting out of bed 3-4 times a night to turn the bloody television off. I aint goin near that tele again!
