Knights has done well to take a team that finished with 10 wins in 2007, and take them to 10 wins in 2009.

"I'm going to frown him within an inch of his life" thought Knights as he stared at umpire Nicholls.

They might even win 10 again this year.

So far they have 5 more wins from 12 attempts in 2010.

Bummers have been embracing mediocrity since the latter days of Sheedy. The Albino is simply carrying on the tradition.

As others have said, when Hurley is lauded as your great-white-hope, Paddy Ryder is the face of the club for membership selling purposes, and a slow plodder like Jobe Watson is captaining the side..... mediocrity is about the most you can hope to achieve.

Kudos to Knights for keeping this bunch 'o spuds out of the bottom 4! (for now)

i think a coaching panel of guzzlG, mantis and ben the goon would have more success than corpse face knights and the team of stooges he has surrounded himself with. mind you, the three afore mentioned would have a lot of pruning to do. a lot of weeds growing on the essendon list. things not looking too good with the coming pool of talent to be consumed by GWS and GC. oh dear

I'm not sure whether Hird will make a good coach or not, seems a bit of a fence sitter when working for On the Couch, doesn't seem to want to offend anybody, which is probably a good trait in a person, but not necessarily in a coach.

All I can say is thank god we got DH, it might be the one you owed us for Sheeds.
