Just looked at our next three matches
Hawthorn (MCG)
Collingwood (TS)
Geelong (SS)
Three of the top four teams we could be 5 - 8 if we don't lift our game loses to Saints and Bombers could really cost us in a months time.

We'll know a lot more about where we stand in 3 rounds time for sure. I'd be pencilling in 1 win, maybe two. But if we can somehow get three wins, this year will be right back on track.

this plays on my mind, games we might not win.. we win..
and games we should win.. we loose..
so on that 3 out of 3 might be very plausable.. (spelling)
i think we will go alright, if we beat the hawks tomorow and get on a roll, im confident we can turn it around..
we play well against the pies & cats, the SS game will be a true test, though i remember we play ok down there, had some very close games in the past could have gone either way..
the boys would be gutted, and if positive thinking is worth anything, were becoming underdogs again, and thats where they like to be..
with a bit of luck and good umpiring :D we should claiming some prized scapls in the next month..

Yeah theres some good points you make there. If we do win all three I think it will be us and the eagles as the two favourites agian. The only down side is all of the teams we are playing will be wanting to prove they belong at the top instead of us so they will be fired up to win. All of a sudden we are the hunted instead of the hunter.

true, about the hunted, though atm the sceptics i feel are ready to write us off, so therefore its going both ways in a wierd way, teams want to beat the swans, the swans want to beat the sceptics who are writing them off and prove once again theyre not going anywhere..
its funny to read and hear after a lose that the wheels are comin off.. and so on..
but on winning the next 3, i imagine that will send very clear msg to the footy world that were on the way to another premiership showdown, and what a statement that would be.. weve done it before .. and as tuco mentioned 4 points in total was the differnce between winning an extra 3 games its not like were falling apart at the seams..

You're screwed;):thumbsu:

Id be very disappointed if we cant get 2 wins in the next three rounds. Im feeling reasonably confident about the Collingwood game but im not so sure about the Hawthorn and Geelong games.
wtf???

pies are way better than the hawks atm

we always make it really hard for ourselves dont we?!?!?

im not gona predict anything. just take it week by week.

GO SWANNIES!

I would rate Collingwood the toughest match more so because we have to win it because its a home game. Collingwood have had some sucsess against us at Telstra Stadium. Hawthorn I think are flying but are about to crash I just hope its this weekend. As for Geelong always a tough trip down to the Cattery but if they keep winning I think our chances keep increasing because the cats are most vunerable when they are on top.

i havent paid too much attention to the pies, though the last months draw hasnt seen them beat in form top of the table teams, unlike hawthorn has..
so i think we should be to good for em at home..

I remember meeting St kilda when they were 10 and zip one year, and we killed them. So nothing is impossible. But this will prob end up our hardest month of football so far!

getting a bit ahead of yourself there dont you think?
i agree that the hawks have performed better in the last month compared to collingwood, though lets jus wait and see what happens after the weekend.. neva know could be the start of a midseason downward spiral, look at what happend to port after we played them..:D:D

We need 2 wins out of Hawks, Pies & Cats to ensure we are on track for top 4

Got over the line against the Hawks so we need to split the next two.

Collingwood will be tough as they like the extra length of Telstra Stadium, but we are at home and will go in as favourites.

As for Geelong, we may just be getting them at the right time. They would have had a week off and be content with how they are travelling at the break. Just the kind of game they drop.

I was thinking that about Geelong today watching them V The Crows, they will smash Lions and be sitting pretty atop the ladder when we meet them. Against any other team this would be a worry and I'm usually very pessamistic of our chances at the Cattery, but I think they might just be getting their big head syndrome going.
