With all the talk about music on this board, I have been meaning to ask...........has ANYONE heard of the greatest band since the Beatles, the mighty RUTLES????? Surely some of you Python fans must have!!!!!! If not, get yourselves to a video store near you and find this gem of a film and find out for yourself why millions of people in this world wander around singing such classics as:

*Cheese and Onions
*We've Arrived (And To Prove It We're Here)
*I am the Waitress
*Denny Laine
*All You Need is Lunch

and many other classics, sounding uncannily like the Beatles....... Do yourselves a favour and discover the magic of Dirk, Nasty, Stig and Barry.........

P.S. For those trivia buffs, Stig O'Hara (Ricky Fataar) was actually a Beach Boy for a short while!!!!

The Rutles was actually one of the first video tapes i ever bought, way back around 84/5. It got chewed by my old Sony many many years ago. I really should look around and get another copy.

Just remember those tragical history tours when , 'All you need(ed) is cash'!!

Usually the video shop ones are either bad sound or bad picture. My copy, is spotless, I was thrilled when I brought it home!!!!!!! I was looking at M*A*S*H videos believe it or not, and spotted it out of the corner of my eye. $12.50, bargain mate!!!!!!!! I am yet to buy the soundtrack and the 'new' CD but have heard both and it's classic stuff, the new one!!!!!!
