On Monday Doran talk callers asking them to nominate the mens and women finalists. One bloke rang up and said Marat Safin would win. Doran quickly replied, "he's not even playing". After laughing it off, upon further inspection, he realised he was.
Good win by Safin over Djokovic last night.

I'd love to see montybrasco do his thing on Doran's stuff-ups like his Turf-speak entries from last week.
Would rival those lists of Murray Walker and Dennis Commetti's commentary.
Sometimes he combines his metaphors purposely though. Such as "It's not rocket surgery"
Hmm, Feature Thursday which is usually quite good is a replay today.
Didn't Sam Newman do this interview last year, before his Caroline Wilson stunt? Cos Doran said that Sam was going to apologise tonight, then resume the replay with Sam saying he has no regrets over some incident.
I like Ox on SEN, I think he's good value for entertainment. Just the serious roles don't suit him.
What are people's thoughts on Casual Fridays?
I used to really like it, but its not must listening for me anymore. Maybe its just lost the freshness factor that it used to have.
Rita just seems to talk in a low breathy voice, get teased by the boys, defend anything Hawthorn, bag anything Shane Warne or Wayne Carey and that's about it.

Who was it last night, they were talking Wimbledon, and they called Ivanovic, "Ivanisevic"? Shocking.
I first heard the Ox on 7 last year, and could not stand his special "comments"/cliches. But he is great on the Run Home, comes across as maybe not the brightest hammer in the shed but very entertaining.I like Ox on SEN, I think he's good value for entertainment. What happened for those who weren't listening?I'm not listening to SEN until that useless fat Hutchiscum-wannabe Matt Thompson is sacked. Anyone who heard the RFC press conference will know why.![]()
Finey announced last night that there will be a new show on SEN at midnight on Tuesdays.
It's going to be called The Bluff Poker show, talking all things poker.
