Will just say he is a caller that has some interestiong opinions and that's where it should stay in my opinion.

Enough said.

that his opinion which is not right nor wrong, just like yourself Ben

Yes, I never try to force my opinion on anyone when calling up SEN or any other radio station.

Have called up SEN mostly of late, no other radio station.

Nicole Livingstone announced today she is leaving SEN.

She did an hour on the afternoon show, as well as being part of SEN's Olympic coverage and hosting a short lived swimming show.

It was great to have a 'female voice' on SEN, but she sometimes struggled away from her fields of expertise such as swimming and the Olympics.

Meanwhile, SEN celebrates its 2nd birthday today.

A lot has happened at the station during that time, both good and bad.

I think how many more birthdays it celebrates depends not only on its ratings performance this year, but what role it plays when the AFL radio rights are devided.

wasnt a fan of livingston. in fact, i usually turned off when she was on.

SEN are starting to get to me in that they replay interviews all day. yesterday they had the CEO of hawthorn on in the morning, then the interview was replayed on KBs show before 10am, then again just before midday!!!

So its SEN's 2nd bday. who are the ins and outs thus far?

INS:
andy maher

OUTS:
lyon
brereton
livingston
wyatt
francis leach
hardy

I don't listen to it too much - from time to time during the football season, but after that - its rarely on. I think it does live off footall, at times. I may be wrong, but...

No you have that a little mixed up. The breakfast show had Angelo Lekkas' manager on about the lawsuit and then KB had the Hawthorn CEO on to respond to the story on his show.

Nicole Livingstone was good value IMO. Good to have a female voice and she seemed like a really nice down to earth person.

When SEN first went to air 2 years ago wa the same day that David Hookes died.

one of the few praiseworthy things i had to say about sen was that david shwartz was a really good find and i think alot agreed , but shwartz is now getting lazy it seems.
if he has been sitting in the studio on the half dozen times they have finished the show playing replays ( thats another sore point with many on this forum about the old lazy replays fifty times a day ) and then hudson says thanks shwartz and of course he says nothing ...why does he say nothing becuase he has gone out the door left on way home.
shwartz that is just lazy if you do the 4 to 7 then do the 4 to 7 dont just walk out before and say play a replay and then i can get out of here.
i wrote about pickering going to the 7 eleven while the show was on and a replay was on and then telling us all he was at the 7 eleven while we were being forced to listen to another replay.
would not have happened under rod law .
lazy lazy lazy and just more fuel to add to those that say the station is a farce.

Herald Sun reporter, Damian Barrett, said recently (admittedly while he was on SEN but not as an employee) that the AFL had checked their books and "liked what they saw". Expect SEN to have some role to play in AFL broadcasts in the future with ,perhaps, the AFL even investing in them.

Good to see that you are listening to 1116 SEN.

Brownless has reverted back to last years performance after just two weeks back from the summer holidays.

Had actually noticed a change in him when he came back leading me to believe someone had had a word with him about his mostly deplorable efforts over the past two seasons.

Today it was the Brownless of old.
The Morning Glory had their US corresepondant on. It was a big day of sport in the US yesterday with the NFL playoffs and Kobe Bryant scoring 81 points for the Lakers.

Andrew Maher and Tim Watson were engaging the US guy in conversation about these events only for Billy to interrupt and ask "What was happening with the guy from The Batchelor these days ?"

This led to a two minute discussion of the guys antics on the show with Maher trying hard to get the conversation back on track.

Brownless obviously didn't have a clue and had to bring it round to something he could understand.

Then yesterday we had to put up with him giggling like a schoolgirl about Baghdatis's girlfriend.

I like a laugh as much as anyone but there is a time and a place for it.
Brownless has to go.

He's pathetic.

ive noticed that when the three of them do the sports update, brownless only does results that involve easy to say names. i mean Bagdatis and Ljubicic are not hard to say!

and how many times do they have to bring up his goal after the siren?

he has no knowledge of anything but footy. a real shame.

mr doran would be trying anything and everything to get his ratings better as he seems the most likely to be told his services are no longer required , especially since they are giving him one more chance after his nights didnt really work and now the arvo.
but from what you say his idea of sport with comediens doesnt work.
matt hardy would tell you so , and we know how many on this website say that brownless acting the fool doesnt cut it so to have another funny man is a desperate move.
maybe trying to get some of his fm listeners to listen to him ( dowling ) or maybe dowling will give us the cheapest petrol in town .

SEN's current breakfast line-up is a shocker. Three air-heads who don't listen to what the others are saying and end up asking questions which were answered somewhere at the beginning of the discussion.

They should stay on Summer holidays all year.

But maybe it's just breakfast radio, in general. Both 3AW and the ABC had decent breakfast Summer fill-ins, but are now back to their crappy line-ups and are really hard to listen to.

leave billy alone, he is the king of geelong :p

Exactly!

Brownless' stupid antics would be great in Geelong but unfortunately the rest of the state has to listen to this buffoon :thumbsd:

Who cares about his drinking habits, nights out, 'the darl' etc........ day after day. How the hell SEN management think the public is entertained by this crap I'll never know.

Ed Wyatt has left SEN which is very disappointing for the station.

He has been there since inception hosting the "Born In The USA" segment which now has a cult following.

Listening last night I was amazed how many talkback callers they received which shows to me that there are a hell of a lot of listeners out there.

Lets hope he left on his own terms and wasn't forced to leave for financial reasons as he is a real talent. Again you would hope that the station tried everything possible to keep him.

He's back on air next weekend.

He would fit in at K Rock doing breakfast, he already does special comments for them on the football coverage.
