Why have the OX and huddo moved to the mornings they are easily the best two on the station and are so in the run home we are used to them and they have created a big fan club out there.
With the world cup on I know friends that have taken time off work to sleep in, I even rocked out of the house an hour later this morning and heard them from about 8am onwards and they just dont seem to sound the same as when i listen on way home
This is crazy and stupid , you dont get Shane Warne to keep wickets in Tests and you dont play fevola at full back , change for change is stupid.
I thought this was a one off when I heard they were not on yesterday driving home from the mcg but figured it was the holiday.
So we get some no name golfer who I havent heard of ( check the thread on allan and his arrogance on this very site ) and some try hard footballers .
THis is stupid and think that Healy and Dwayne pipe would be rubbing their hands with glee at eating up this weak opposition.

Come on mate. Keep up with it. You should know through all your 'contacts' that it is only for the fortnight.

Just as an aside. Breakfast is the most important timeslot for any radio station. Maybe they are testing Ox and Huddo here with a view to later moving them permanently.

Billy and Tim have improved a little this year but only marginally and surely the station would be looking at sharpening things up in this timeslot as it impacts the station for the rest of the day.
 
mark allen is a tosspot typical golfer

do something with jason richardson, i dont get to listen to him in the mornings but he does a great job on sundays hosting with harf who is pretty good also
 
Just an aside - at the Game between the Socceroos and Japan on Monday arvo, there was an Australian media reporter outside the Kaiserslautern train station trying to interview all of the Aussie fans as they emerged for their walk toward the ground. Everyone was either ignoring or heckling the poor bloke ... until someone said "Hey, it's SEN". From that moment on blokes were making a beeline to shake the reporters hand and try to get interviewed.

Maybe the station has a lot more credibility than we give it credit for, despite the valiant efforts of Brownless and Watson to lower it's esteem with sports fans.

Fevola has played Full back when the master coach Denis Pagan played Fevola a few years ago on Fraser Gehrig

rippedoff is loyal SEN person. I look foward to his biching and moaning, keep it up rippedoff and contiune to listen to SEN 1116, I do :)

rippedoff what was you role on SEN when you worked there? Were you a on air host, producer, part of the managment team???
A few us would really like to know.
 
It will be really interesting to see the make up of SEN's calling team if they broadcast the afl next year.

Depending on how many games they'd do [if they call AFL],I gather they'd use current people like Beva,Doran [currently calls on K-Rock],Maher,Schwartz,Pickers,Huddo,KB,Billy & Timmy [although he'd probably be commited to 7].
 
LOL Did anyone hear that talkback caller Santo on World Sport Overnight/Gladiators of Sport ...
LOL He got really heated about the AFL VS Soccer debate that was going on, and he really went for it, and as a result, Tony Schebecci has banned him for 2 weeks ...
Hilarious listening though.
Gee you get a lot of weird sorts ringing up that station after midnight :)

Think we'll all find out when they post a picture of her on the website. A mate of mine entered a competition to go on a date with her without even knowing what she looks like!? Not a good move in my book but he reckons she is such good value that he'd marry her even if she was fugly. Me, I'd want to see a picture first but the show she is on with harford and doran is the best on SEN, should be on in the morning slot instead of dumb, dumber and dumberer.

Just saw this thread and thought i'd put in a few general comments.

Beva After Dark is now the single best show on SEN, by a fair way. He and Mark Fine's passion shows through in what i consider to be the 3 main sports: AFL, Soccer, Cricket. No other show has that.

Mark Doran tries hard, but i dont find that he has much substance or direction with what he says.

Run Home is so much better without Matt Hardy and Dermott. Great show.

Morning Glory is still a mess.

Schebecci is getting more likable, or im getting more tolerant.

The weekend graveyard shift is alot better though, their knowledge is so much better, especially with soccer which is good considering all the leagues play during that time.

Liam Pickering could be the next person to get a main gig, he's been great, while all the other ex-footballers are pretty stock standard to me.
