Also, its only been a week, but well done to Morning Glory, no cheap sexist jokes or ill informed descrimination. Hope it continues.

I only get to listen to The Morning Glory for just over an hour each day, but I much prefer Ian Cohen and Jason Richardson!

yeh imo cohen is a bit too goofy for my liking but i love richo's work

he is a funny bloke when you listen to him and all those who dont like him are the precious ones who want straight down the line rubbish like the morning glory

the regulars are back and its great isnt it

i love blokes like pickering and mark allen and richo who enjoy what they are doing and arent the same boring dweebs like huddo and andy maher

agree with you about pickering and allen, their sat show is always worth listening to. As for morning glory, i've noticed they have toned down some of the worst bits but its still pretty poor effort.

Cohen and Richardson were ok as fill ins but I can't agree with you about Richardson. He is ordinary most of the time and only rarely fires up. To me he's not much different to the straight down the line regulars only he is less professional. Doesn't say much that is witty or interesting.

Their show is on a Saturday morning from 9-12.......They both Pickering and Allen are real social animals and are often spotted at establishments around South Melbourne, Pahran and Port Melbourne. They both fancy themselves with the girls.

Richo and Daniel Harford's 'On The Rise' is on for 5 hours now, it starts at 7am and finishes at 12pm.

I'm pulling the pin on Morning Glory until the footy season starts. I can't stand Andy Maher and Tim Watson anymore. The pair of them just seem very smug and contrived the whole time they are on air. When Billy is the only host of the show you can handle (just) then it is time to listen to something else. Maher just annoys the living chit out of me for some reason.

although i do find tim's act contrived, i actually found it funny this morning. to ask callers to ring in and say why/who their suburb has produced the best sportsmen made me smile because it ended up with everyone (including guest john fitzgerald) telling maher that pat cash didnt grow up in kew.

i flicked on around 6.45 this morning to find the three regulars plus richo taking talkback on the aussie flag issue at the BDO. interestingly i didnt hear billy speak much.

Gotta say I've been enjoying Brett Phillips work a lot. Schbecci is still pretty good with the gladiators of sport but he can struggle on his own.

Doran: Liike the way he goes about it and I think he can commentate quite well from the few times i heard him on KROCK

Beva:Have not heard him as a commentator but he seems to have a great show going.

Haven't heard Beva or Doran commentate footy but have heard Doran do basketball and he is pretty good. Huddo I've heard on channel 10 but have to say that I hope SEN use him sparingly. He just about ruined the run home tonight by constantly interupting interviews to give a play by play account of what was happening at the tennis. If we were that interested in the women's matches huddo we'd just listen to the ABC.
So is Dermie signed on? He gives me the ********s big time.
Darren Berry isn't going to add much to the footy coverage but he isn't going to turn people off either like Dermie can so he would be a solid signing.

Mark Doran is a terrible football commentator, his calling on K-Rock was shyte to say the least.

Do you think SEN can outrate any of the ABC, AW or MMM with it's football commentary? I honestly doubt it, but I can see their programs getting an overall lift of 0.5-1 overall due to the new audience it could pull in.
