hi brothers i over heared someone called kenny at the seven eleven next to sen and he was saying to a nother bloke there is a meeting this week on monday or tuesday i thunk

it was sayed that they might of gotten some more sponsors or something lots of bad calls to the station and johnno not happy about getting them on his bat phone he didunt realise how popular the show was

any way dudes looks like good news soon you heared it first

Rita normally only disrepects things that deserve it and says what a lot of people are thinkin.

Lumping all women in together is piss poor IMHO. Agree with your on Jacqui Epstein but you couldn't be more wrong about Rita, she makes casual friday and is one of the few people on the station to say what she thinks. She is very good value.

As for Richo, used to dislike him but now I'm a fan but to say he is not biased is a joke! How long have you been listening to him? he has his biases and opinions just like everyone else. On the rise with Harf and Richo is fantastic, it should be on at a better time.

But like you said its all a matter of opinion, just don't be so sexist. Never thought I'd say that to a girl!

IMO Rita is the only woman to have been on SEN who SOUNDS o.k...also happen to like what she has to say......for some reason majority of women dont come across well on radio.....voices I'm talking about...can be very grating..

Notice that Gladiators were back sort of till 1am and then WWAAT kept going after midnight , was that the plan as its sort of getting back more and more overnight.
maybe the mgt are taking notice and having it come back bit at a time and not stopping at midnight .

Cranny Pete i really hope you are right about the 7/11 scoop.

It sounds legimate which is good.

Even though i don't know if i really trust something overheard in a 7/11 but i'm going to cross my fingers.

I'd be interested to see how they do it if it does come back....
OWAAT deserves a primetime spot so i don't know if they should get rid of it.
They might need to employ someone else...but they might have BP on weekdays as tony is working during the day and will probably be working as the gladiators commentator next year.

BTW i did tape the gladiators of sport. But i won't be able to put it up till tomorrow night.

If anybody wants to hear what ripping rita said i can put that up too.

Just got an assignment due tomorrow and then will be at uni all day and then work till 10. So expect it around midnight tomorrow hopefully.

Listened to Brett Phillips on Saturday, plus a little of Matt Thompson on Sunday...

If Brett Phillips couldn't do a better job of hosting a weekday show than the current mumbling fool on from 12 til 4, I'll eat my hat.

Very informative, and he knows his sport in and out. Does a good interview too.

Ox initiated the bet too... silly man.

Watched the start of the game last night because of it. Switched it off after Arsenal went up 2-0 after 13 minutes. Surprised to hear it was 2-2 just after half time, but Arsenal got one in at 80 minutes.

Its good that the ox is showing interest in soccer, he is a victory member and goes along to games.

BTW what do people think of Frank doing the soccer? Personally I think he is no good at it, the coverage last year without him was better.

The person you have to convince is Mark Johnson he is the program manager at the station and was the man who took WSO off the station.
He also fired one of the stations best Bruce Eva off the station so he is the hirer and firer .

Only problem is his background is running a number of radio stations all music radio stations and not much of a sporting knowledge at all.
Good luck though you will need it , running joke at the station is that Johnson thinks the best ever player for the Eagles was Glen Frey .

Ox has shown great support for the Victory from season one. Even when Matt hardy was still on their show I remember them talking about going to their first soccer game at Olympic Park.

Have only heard a little of Frank on the coverage, so can't really say whether he's good or bad, but the truth is, they probably need someone else who can call soccer at the station.

I watch the Victory games on TV and when we score a goal, I always flick the radio on just to hear how Zappers and Trimmers are going off. I love the little laugh they give as they call the Victory goals. Biased commentary at its best and I love it.
