It's a wake up call. I thought I would be closer to that other list.

Don't take it to heart mate. I rate you as a bloke and a poster. In-house we've been discussing about how this can only improve the league posting-wise as a whole, because people will understand where they're going wrong and then subsequently improve that aspect of your game.

If anyone is wondering why they are ranked where they are, and what they may have posted to cause this, the consortium ([USER]Itsmyshow[/USER] and co.) is always up for a private conversation.

I'm not too fazed about it tbh. It's interesting to know that what I thought was a good fun thread was consider poorly by the more respected posters.

And I honestly won't change my posting to be recognised as a top 10 because I'm not a sheep. I'm having too fun on this board to get carried away with being next to Juggs on a list.

I'm always up for SFA humiliation - I can't see why you wouldn't put a summary of why we're on the list. The fact that you have a list is simply to generate activity, so giving a little taste of why we are pathetic in your eyes would generate more talk.

Hopefully I make it further up the list next week, I will not be conforming to you clowns. If you don't like the way we post and are active, sucked in we're here to stay so deal with it

I could start a thread claim to have formed a rival power group to create a further list and the just put 10 random posters names in the OP

I think your concept is good but also crap at the same time, why create a list with a so called "power group" of selectors and then not have the balls to come out and say face to face or post to post why that person is on a list. Why should I contact you about it, I'm happy with the way I'm posting. If you have a problem with the way people post, which obviously you do otherwise this list wouldn't have been created then come and tell each flog poster in public what they can supposedly do to improve. This just seems like an ego tripping list trying to make us small fry posters bow down to you chosen ones. Sorry buddy I aint conforming.

No one wants you to bow down to anything, that would be uncomfortable...

Not everyone wants to see that, and most will jump up and down and carry on.. It was discussed, but the negative effect of driving people away by putting it in here then having that poster face ongoing slamming in match threads etc for the things that others see (believe me, it happens)... That is why we decided that the best opportunity was to have anyone who wanted to know send someone a message to find out why.. Then they can choose to agree with it, or not.. That is up to each of the individuals, if you are happy with the way you post, then whatever we say in this list won't matter to you..

The OP makes it pretty clear, it could be anything from one massive floggish act or a consistency that sees you perform floggish all week.. As for a problem with the way someone posts, I think most would see that I will tell that flog exactly what I think, I am famous for it. But it's not about having a problem, everyone can post whatever way they want.. An individual poster can either try to improve from it, or ignore it as an aberration.. Each to their own...

The name and shame is a good concept. We shouldn't be worried about hurting posters feelings. We are all mature enough to cop some criticism.

It's up to you guys but I'm happy to be shamed as well as applauded if need be.

i actually really like the idea of a shame file, comprise a list each week of the worst posts, biggest poster fails etc etc, would be good comedic reading. It would be like doing a written version of street talk where all the idiots come to gather. I don't claim to be a good poster, in fact my banter is average at best i just drivvle shit because that is me.

The problem is say we name and shame a poster, then all week everyone takes shots at that poster. Some people may not have the fortitude to confront that and instead would disappear for a while, hurting the leagues activity. This is why reasons are offered in a private conversation.
