The problem is say we name and shame a poster, then all week everyone takes shots at that poster. Some people may not have the fortitude to confront that and instead would disappear for a while, hurting the leagues activity. This is why reasons are offered in a private conversation.

are people really that serious on here that they would take things to heart like that, hell i've been used and abused on here already and i love it. Toughen up princesses. if you can't take the heat....

also if you are that concerned that shaming people will turn them away from the SFA why create a list which is clearly a shame list anyway. if people are as precious as you seem to think some are then appearing on a crap posters list might make them not post again.

It has been explained MP that the idea of the list is constructive as well as an exercise in developing a reflection of the top 10 list. .. Of course its the opinion of the panel of eight and not much more but you either take it on board or you don't. .. The option is there to ask why you might be on the list but we'd prefer to take that to PM. ..

It's a wake up call. I thought I would be closer to that other list.

Delayed response to this but from my point of view you would have been close to the first list only a few short weeks ago. .. Keep up the good work and dial back on over doing it and you'll go well. .. Like I said earlier its a fine line sometimes. .. Just because you are on the list this week doesn't mean you'll be on the list next week as each week is a clean start. ..

I'm really interested in how this progresses. I would imagine it would be the hardest to vote on. And it's accuracy is a lot harder to gauge than the top 10 list. For example, let's say Juggs is displeased with an issue in the league and whinges about it and fights his case all week. Does that make him a worse poster than say, Peterrs, who only comes in and whinges twice a month? At least Juggs is always active, always driving activity...And I get the sense that he knows and does not care what people think of him, or his reputation.

I think that if somebody has a go at you in the SFA, you just need to have a go back. I definitely love the top 10 concept, I will reserve judgement on the bottom 10 concept for now.

You bitch.

That's me every freaking week, so why not say the reasons, it won't affect anything for me.

We really should be informed of the panel members and be told how they agree on the players. Do they each get one vote or what? I'd also like to see it done on reputation. For example if Beez is fairly average for a game he should get a kick up the bum and be put on the list. Otherwise we get the same shitty names every week. And why the hell is CB17 on the list?? Please explain.

From what I remember the Golden Spud only focused on 3 posters for the whole season.
That's how I remember it, it was some sort of "best of the worst" encouragement award. This is more of a name and shame (but saving the shaming for PMs) arrangement.

Still should be the same principle though. The reason the Golden Spud was removed was because too many people thought it wasnt beneficial in any way and didnt encourage the posters named on it. I personally dont care about being named in the bottom 10 but I can see why people would be upset with their names on the list.

Stop making god damn sense, I'm starting to like you

I can guarantee you that those 3 will be in this list every week. And "how is that going to help them become a better poster when they are being slammed every week?"
Jobe is Jobe, but there's no reason SKM, Andonis or THB can't rise above the hate. All of them have the potential to become genuine stars, they just need to learn to post when they have something to contribute, not simply something to say.

Unlike the Golden Spud which had those same 3 posters set in stone regardless of a good week or not, this list can change each week by nature some names may reappear but some may not, same with your lists.

I don't know who the people were that objected to the Golden Spud were (and what led to you stopping it), but if they feel it's dejavu here (by discouraging posters) then it's a fair argument.

Haven't you read his reasoning Chez? He has stated he's a somebody. In reality, a fattie who lives his life through the Internet.
He's still cut up at how I absolutely to towelled him up in the pre season game. Remember his meltdowns once he couldn't win the arguments? This is his way of evening up the score. I pity him. I thought he may have needed a hug after the game, after reading this, I think the issues run deeper. He's my bitch, he knows it. Keep running showtime, I'll be waiting for you the next game.
