Johnny Sac lol. He was always a cool, calm and collected character. I wish he got clipped earlier instead of dying that way. Maybe he deserved to do that way though? But I'd much rather someone put a few rounds in him.

Absolutely love this show, my favourite ever.

Just re-watched it - I must say, for the first time I felt like season 6 was rushed.

The whole thing kicked off with Phil and Tony over some minor asbestos dumping. I know that was only the catalyst but it just feels a bit silly. The random gambling problem he develops late on was absolutely bizarre as well.

John Sacramoni being diagnosed and then killed from cancer all in the space of 45 mins etc etc.

Doesn't change my opinion on the show overall but I'm not sure it was as well thought out as I previously viewed it.

Not that's made obvious. There was a bigger gap between season 5/6 that was noted initially but not outside of that.

It might've been aired separately but it certainly never gave the impression during the season they were split.

Yeah cracking episode. One of the most notable moments of foreshadowing as well. "You probably don't even hear it when it happens right".

Before he ratted, he was the boss of one of the New York families. Jersey was always subservient to New York in the mob hierarchy in the show's universe, so it would have been difficult to clip him. Then he ratted on the mob and was locked up tight by the feds, so it would have been even harder to get to him.

Funnily enough, I used to know a guy who looked a lot like the actor that played Johnny Sac. Always thought this guy and Vincent Curatola could have been brothers in another life.

The Vito plot in the last season is the best. The funny thing is that after a while Tony doesn't even really care about it and it's just the others.

Vito was Tony's best earner at the time. He was prepared to look the other way while Vito was paying.

The thing about AJ is that he was a slacker and a loser, borderline clinically depressed at times and tried to commit suicide but stuffed it up because he couldn't be bothered measuring the rope length correctly, but he could pull the birds. Blanca is a stunner. Devin Pillsbury is pretty good looking (not my type) and Rhiannon Flammer was not bad either.

He didn't really rat, he just confirmed he was head of the family.

He never gave up any individuals. I know he was supposed to deny the family ever existing but he's not a rat in the way that Pussy was.

I did actually watch On The Buses many moons ago. Not as a new show, but as repeats. There was a time when the FTA TV stations didn't telecast much sports, so they showed lots of repeats of TV shows and old movies instead.
