The important thing for our season was after the first half wipeout, we hung in and won the second half - saving percentage and ultimately avoiding playing Adelaide in Adelaide first week of the finals. The finals series might well have panned out very differently had that not happened....

The first H&a match I went to in 2017.

I hate that stadium, so much

ONLY H&A match I went to in 2017 after being overseas for 15 months. I'll gladly take the blame, as long as I can also take the thanks for what happened after I decided not to attend any more games.

The Carlton Swans game from 1995 is the shonkiest game I think I have heard about in my time watching football. It is reasonably clear there was some gambling interest brought to bear.

We now appear twice in the 'Biggest Loss by an Eventual Premier'. 76 pts to Adelaide and 67 to St Kilda (and we got 3 junktime goals against the Saints).

You can understand the Adelaide loss - top side, interstate, du for a loss after 5 straight etc - the Saints was just weird. I was at the Wantirna Club (Richmond's SE suburbs venue) and people were going home before half-time.
