I love the old jumper our swing upwards off field was happening pre Steve's. Post 06 we were the only family friendly club in the state. Plus Clive 'johnny Docker' waterhouse

Nah the current jumper leaves the old one for dead in a traditional sense.My grandkids love the new one and where totally indifferent to the previous.
They said it looked nothing like an Aussie footy jumper but more like a soccer type.The kids love the purple,its a colour that can be identified with

I don't remember the pre-Steves Freo playing in a grand final or having the best selling jumper in the league.

Those things might not constitute success to you but they sure help in the striving for it.

Sometimes you hear players talk about digging deep to achieve success and they use the expression "playing for the jumper". I don't think how many each different version of the jumper sells in a particular year factors into it.
