Ok I know this isn't something that should be brought out in the open, but guess what, there's thousands of Aussie expats abroad who are being denied a chance to watch the game they love due to AFL commercial interests.

The stream that had been circulated privately last week after justin.tv went down has now been cut off by the AFL.

There's 24 hours until Collingwood run on the track.

I know there's more live streams out there. If China can't stop censorship, the AFL has no chance in hell. The more the AFL shut down, they more that will pop up. I just hope they pop up in time for the match tomorrow.

If anyone comes across anything, please PM me with the link.

Another tip, I suspect there's shady members on BF that are trying to get these links on behalf of the AFL, so please share only with regular posters.

DO NOT, whatsoever, post any streaming links in this thread.

The longer the AFL keeps its head in the sand about this the more of these feeds will pop up. But instead of spending all their time trying to shut the feeds down and deny thousands of Australians overseas the chance to watch their favorite teams, why isn't the AFL working to provide a legal alternative??

For many of us these streams are the ONLY way to watch the footy. But if the AFL provided a decent, legal live streaming service, many of us would pay good money to watch it. It's a business opportunity for them, and it baffles me that they are too stupid to realize this.

What a disgrace this morning was. Firstly as ANT correctly points out that every single feed that was sent around privately last week was down this week. The link that was sent and was working suddenly got shut down as well.

So as a last resort I head to the AFL site and the radio stream is not working. So no coverage at all for us overseas.

It would appear that the AFL have generated a few BF accounts and are trying to get the site PM'd to them (see a couple of threads in the 4th Estate) and thus why the feed today shut down halfway through the game.

Not that I care too much about the dogs game, but I will be desperate to find something for the big one tomorrow. I know it seems tough, but if we are pm'ing sites before the game (I would like one if anyone gets it) can we check the join dates, etc. or only give it to posters you recognise.

The AFL best sort this out before next season. I have nearly given up hope for this year. Even the GF is not being shown live on ESPN at this stage in the US (possibly not even shown at all in Canada....)

Hmm... strange. Threads on the streaming topic, be it, providing links and/or whatnot are generally locked.

for those who have access to the internet and are in the united states ESPN360.COM are streaming the finals live and 3 games from 2010 and 2011 seasons. Sure it's not free but better than nothing... right?

They say that they GF will be televised but nothing is final yet. But still this is better than nothing. If the GF isn't on tele it will be streaming on ESPN's site anyway.

Those in other parts of the world well I have no idea.
