You are picking 1 Sub. Final selection within the side.
*** Note open for (2) two days only.

Team so far.
Backs - Newman McGuanne Moore
Half Back - Lids Astbury Connors
Centre- Conca Cotchin Edwards
Half Forward - Morton Griffiths Taylor
Forward -Post Riewoldt King

Ruck - Graham
R/Rover - Martin
Rover - Foley

Interchange - Jackson Grigg Tuck
Sub -

I went Houli, we brought him in a for a reason, he can play back forward and midfield so it would be a good choice as a sub- feel sorry for Derickx though

seeing as how we can only pick one ruckman in the starting 21. obviously the sub will be a ruckman. when reality says it should be a fresh hard running mid with a second ruck on the interchange bench.
who do we play rnd 1 again. oh thats right carlton with kruezer warnock and possibly hampson strewth.

lol. if nothing else im persistent
Thats one way to describe it , especially given you haven't voted Santa. :thumbsu:
I went for Derickx as I believe he could provide a lot as a tall forward and with both Post and Astbury already in the side who can swing to either end of the ground, I think he as the sub would provide the greatest flexibility.
To be honest I thought that Farmer may have been the smokey for this spot as he would also provide increased flexibilty, as he could come on and go straight into the midfield or back and allow a players like Lids or Connors to go into the midfield or forward ?

I'm certain King is suspended so Houli is in. That aside if that was the line up we went with which IMO McGuane, Post and Conca are no shoe in's. I'm guessing White for his pace.

 Has been explained before that voting was to be done on the basis that all players are available !

Given the team that has been selected so far, Derickx cannot be sub. I highly doubt we would go in to round 1 with Jack, Post and Griff up forward, plus 3 tall defenders, plus Taylor, plus Graham, and then have another tall as the sub. It's got to be Houli.

Can we at least spell Thursfield's name correctly ffs, there is no 't'.

I voted Houli but in reality it could be any one of Derickx, Gourdis, Farmer, Rance, White, O'Reilly or Webberly, depending on who we're playing, our desired structure, form etc.
