Same could have been said back when we supposedly didn't win the Kreuzer cup against Carlton, followed a year(?) later by Melbourne's tanking tactics i.e. we picked up Cotchin & Martin respectively. No point hating, things always fall where they rightly should

If the guy is so shit, then why are they carrying on like a pack of twits even a week after he has already gone? I remember when we traded Tambling to Adelaide we cheered but there was hardly any hatred trolling from us, plus most of the trolling came from opposition fans.

There is pure hatred being shown by Port fans ........ not sure why they are so mad if Troy Chaplin is so shit.

I just dont get it, they have done reasonably well when trading with us over the years, Rodan, Schulz and even us taking Farmer off their hands, would have thought losing Chaplin would be a meh moment for them if he was so shit.

Stanton would be B+/A-. Decent player, just can't shake a tag & average kick. I personally think Zaha will become a quality A grader.

You guys haven't watched much of Zaharakis then. Was underdone this year, but fell into a B&F because of injuries to others. Solid player, but not an A grader. No way is Stanton an A grader, played 3 good games this year then went missing when it got tough!

Ok I should alter my statement, he was on the cusp of becoming an A grader, because you probably need to put two fantastic season of footy together to be classified as one. Unfortunately, (or fortunately from our point of view ) his body broke down and didnt allow him to back it up.

Why? Take away his B&F in which he fell into, what has he done of note? Compare his stats to other A grade midfielders and see what you come up with...

Really depends on what you define as an A grader. So everyone else has a different interpretation to A grader.

Lets say we get rid of all the Elite / Super Elite /Superstar tags and just went with A Grader, B Grader and so on. Then no hes not an A grader like Watson is, IMO he is a B grader. Its all very opinionated.

Zaha's only 22 dude. He will get better.

Stanton played an unbelievable uncontested style (no different to Grigg) in the first 11 rounds (was right up there in the Brownlow count early). After that he copped more attention and basically turned to water. He suffers from being their second best midfielder. Grigg has the luxury of the attention going to Cotch, Deledio, Martin, Tuck and Foley.

Well it took me all of 15 seconds to change my opinion, like I said, he was on the cusp of becoming an A grader. His season last year was very much like Cotchin's. Although Cotch has a greater ability to get his own ball, Zaha breaks the lines (not saying Cotch doesn't) and has electric pace.
