Ayoze did look pretty good! Should have gotten on earlier I think to see if his 4 goal effort for the u21s could have resulted in a winner. Was very stiff to be incorrectly called for offside too from a great run.

Riviere should have scored his first goal but he did show a bit I thought when he came on. Cisse dragging a defender seemed to help him and it was his hold up play that resulted in the second equaliser (playing it to Ameobi to cross to Cisse...).

Obertan and Ameobi though. Who'd have thought both of those guys would provide assists! Sammy's out of contract at season's end and so really is playing for his Toon future you'd think.

Sad but true. Was a bit like our new Lovenkrands and able to pop in with a few goals but playing as a winger (instead of his natural striker role) is hurting his game. It's great he's doing a job for the team but his own game is hurting as a result.

On a brighter note, Cisse is in some form!

Already doubled his tally in the league from last season and equalled the total number of goals he managed from 3 games (3 games, 4 goals is pretty impressive for a guy coming back from a bad injury and with little match practice).

I'm not sure whether the players are playing for Pardew or not.
