If you're looking for evidence of Pussdew's ability to get the worst out of players you can find it with your eyes closed. It will find you in fact.I think I posted that I watched Mbiwa for Roma in the Champions league and he was terrific.
Pussdew has blamed the support for losing, drawing, playing badly...I reckon the support are responsible for holding the club together and providing a major support and incentive for the players on the park.
Gay marriage is legal isn't it??Pussdew can marry Cashley;Wise can hitch up with Keane and they can sell the club and all farq off on a honeymoon.
Sorry but as you may see I'm over the level of player management stupidity....James Milner says hi and sends a photo of his premiership medal.

Quality rant scon :D

If only we had a manager who could develop and improve talent :(

More dribble from Pardew:

Hinting that the club may need to recruit some bigger personalities in the future, Pardew said: “I didn’t think we were strong enough in the last part of the season and that’s been held against me that I’ve been making excuses, but I just felt that we needed more and we didn’t have it after the loss of Cabaye.

“This club needs big players because we are a big scalp for any team.

“For Swansea, we would be a big scalp. Forget where we are in the league. We need big players and our big players need to stand up.

Ok Alan, fair point about the loss of Cabaye but isn't it his job as manager to find more even after Cabaye's sale? Why not change the lineup, tactics, formation anything for that matter - surely if we slumped into such a bad run of form (which we're still suffering in the new season), it's the manager's job to try and fix things.

The bit about big players...maybe what we need is a half decent manager! If other club's see us as a scalp, then isn't it your job to prepare and get the team ready? We've gone down without a whimper in too many games to be considered anything of a 'scalp' :$

Yeah I read the yarn about personalities...it's just gibberish;he bloke's thick as 50 Mackems.

:D:thumbsu:

Even Mike Ashley had a chuckle!

Sounds like a laugh:http://s.newsnow.net/heck.gifNewcastle: Is Gazza Why Dennis Wise Thinks Geordies Hate Cockneys?
Although describing Wise as a 'combative Cockney firebrand' or whatever is a bit off the mark for a dirty grubby little knob end.
Hope springs eternal:http://s.newsnow.net/heck.gifRangers would be Ashley's ticket to Euro millions

Hahaha! Good stuff by Gazza, can only imagine the look on Wise's face seeing his suit chopped to bits! Couldn't have happened to a better guy too!

That's a very poignant article too Scon, sums it up really well. What I wouldn't do to have Freddy Shepherd back at the helm. Sure he had his flaws but at least he was ambitious and had the club's interests at heart.

Hopefully Mr Wise reads this...

Timmy Krul apparently picked up a knock for the Netherlands so might be in doubt for the Leicester game.

Apparently West Ham are tying to sell Carroll to us - would definitely fit under the hoof ball model loved by Pardew.

Just realised we could lose Cisse and Tiote in January to the African cup of nations...2 of our most important players potentially gone for a month...that won't be ideal if we're in a relegation dogfight...

Yip we'll lose both of them and Carroll will come back although who knows if his body holds up.
I doubt the little campaigner reads....mindless little pretend tough boy flog.

Yeah, that's what I'd be worried about. I'd probably have him, he's got great work rate but he'd need to take a pretty hefty paycut first and I wouldn't want us to spend too much on him either given his injury record ever since he left us.

Let's get both Carroll and Cabaye back! Would be nice haha
SURELY we win this week though. How far away is De Jong?

Would be pretty funny if they both ended up here!

De Jong's still a fair way off I think - I think it was reported it'd be at least 4 months so potentially could be a timely boost come December/January. Need to get Armstrong playing though, he looks a decent option to fill in that role!

This doesn't bode well for us seeing the back of Ashley...

"Indeed, the Premier League will soon be rolling out new packages for auction that will cover the three seasons from the 2016-17 campaign.

Newcastle scooped £77million last season for a 10th place spot.

But when the new TV rights kick in clubs could earn over £100million per season just for staying in the top flight."

Apparently Krul is right for the weekend.

Looking forward to the game! Unfortunately I'll have to watch it on delay but it should be a good match!

Pardew's 700th game as a manager too.

In some rare good news, the club have said that Ryan Taylor might be on the bench - hasn't played a game since August 2012 due to injury. Would be a great ovation for him if he manages to get on (though I'm not sure he's going to be a player who can help us out of the current mess we're in).

Also, forgot to chuck this up earlier but Gutierrez ran a marathon to raise awareness for cancer, not a bad effort for the guy after he only announced he was diagnosed with it last month. What a champion and inspiration he is! Could use some of that in our team.

Will be interesting to see how we line up tonight. Krul, Janmaat and Dummett 'should' play after picking up knocks on international duty.

Obertan apparently will be starting but Sammy Ameobi is in doubt. Riviere could miss too.

I'd like to see this team personally.

Krul (if fit)
Janmaat Colocinni Williamson Dummett
Tiote Colback (maybe Anita)
Obertan Sissoko Cabella
Cisse

With hopefully Armstrong and Perez getting some game time. Will be interesting if they give Ryan Taylor a look in. I'd be over the moon for him but I don't think he's a guy who can come in and help us get a win (though at least his set pieces are pretty good).

Looking forward to seeing Cambiasso too Jatz :)

Great to get on the board with a win. Obertan was fantastic. Full credit to him for turning it around.
Loved Ayoze when he came on also. We HAVE to play two up front.

Wish I stayed up for it! Saw the kickoff was delayed and just decided to sleep as I was beat.

Great for Cisse with the assist (in the highlights looked like he could have scored himself when he rounded Schmeichel).

Obertan's been a whipping boy for so long but I really hope this is the start of a new leaf for him. Has always had pace and was a highly rated junior, here's hoping this run of form gives him the confidence he needs to finally click.

Perez definitely looks a promising prospect, hope he gets a bit of run in the next few games too.

Leicester hit the upright I think I saw - I guess sometimes you just need a bit of luck when you're struggling to help turn things around.

Just got woken up by the crazy thunderstorms here in Melbourne and thought I'd check the scores. Sammy and Perez! Crazy stuff!

2-1 win. Ameobi scoring 6 seconds after coming on and perez with the eventual winner from a cabella cross. Amazing stuff. I must still be dreaming lol

Spewing I had to miss cos of work....Get in!

Hopefully we can keep this going and make something of the season and not let Pardew/Ashley simply buy themselves time.

When was the last time we won at WHL?

November last year ;)

Great win! Stayed up for the game, enjoyed the second half immensely and the electrical storm outside my apartment.

Pretty tired today though! Time for coffee..

Huge game this week! Liverpool v NUFC games are usually very entertaining. Early game Saturday so that is good. They have really been struggling, I think we're a huge chance
