Butland apparently not interested in City either. Makes sense as a club like Stoke (if Begovic leaves in the summer as I expect him to) offers him a quick route to the premier league starting lineup.

FWIW I think he should stay at Birmingham for the rest of the season even if a deal is done now. Games hughely beneficial to him at the moment.

No I think its more that Team 1 and Team 2 can only have one loan between them, not two players.

Was looking at the rules, apparently you can't loan a player out in the same window as you buy them.

So presumably the likes of Zaha hasn't yet been bought, just an agreement to buy him at the end of the season. Stoke could do the same with Butland.
