Well Suarez looks gone. Just as were starting to put together a nice squad, he walks. Bummer.
The spokesman said: “Luis Suarez is not for sale. Neither Luis nor his representatives have communicated these feelings directly to Liverpool Football Club. The club remains supportive of Luis and expects him to honour his contract. The club will not be making any further comment at this stage.”
Love that statement. Just making sure that everyone knows we dont want to sell him so 60 million plus thanks very much.
You won't get close to 60m at all.
40m would be a stretch.

Suarez is an excellent player and goal scorer, but there's a reason he won't go for the money Bale will eventually.
Doesn't have the unique physicality.

We'd get £40m for him at the very least. £60m is very unrealistic, somewhere around £45m is the price we'd get.
If Suarez does leave will be interesting to see if the Liverpool supporters do a back flip on their blind defending of him over the previous years.
Julio Cesar being linked with Arsenal again, hope theres nothing to it.
Yeah I would hate excellent GK's being linked to my club as well.

I don't understand why you think athletic ability should come into a players valuation. If he's a world class footballer then he's a world class footballer, regardless of body shape (it doesn't matter how you score or assist goals, so long as the ball is still going in the back of the net it doesn't matter if it's from 20m out or after dribbling past 2 players and passing it into the bottom corner). Does the fact that Ronaldo is 6ft and has a fantastic physique mean he's worth more than Messi who by comparison is essentially a dwarf?
Suarez's 2012/13 season in addition to his incredible scoring record with Ajax has (like Bale) propelled him into being one of the top 10 players in world football based on form at the moment. We're in the fortunate position that he willingly signed an extension until 2018 earlier this season, so regardless of whether he wants to leave or not we're under no pressure to sell him (like Tottenham with Modric a few years ago). They'll continue rejecting bids until their valuation of 50m (as reported by Liverpool Echo, The Times & The Guardian) is met, and with an election coming up at Madrid I'm sure Perez will be happy to meet that valuation.
lol he's been saying it every daysuarez saying he wants out according to ssn
He cleaned up his act.If Suarez does leave will be interesting to see if the Liverpool supporters do a back flip on their blind defending of him over the previous years.
