Just wondering what position jackson and edwards play. what type of players are they? who would you compare them to? etc.
any information would be great as i've been unable to watch many bullants games this year. also in your oppinion who is better / deserves a game first

JAKE EDWARDS - tall forward/defender who improved as the year unfolded after representing vic metro at the 2004 nab under 16 championships. the son of former richmond/coll/footscray star allan edwards, he is strong overhead and has outstanding speed. lightly framed but will fill out as he continues to grow.

RYAN JACKSON - to the surprise of some, this hard working, courageous and skillful forward/midfielder was overlooked in the 2005 draft. however he was invited to train with the blues after the draft and they selected him for rookie status. had an outstanding second half of the year for the northern knights. Has great endurance, highlighted by running a 14.5 beep test at the nab draft camp.

thanks very much FieryNayta they both sound like they will be important members of the team in the years to come

Looks like Teagues last chance. Either that or Pagan is tanking.

Very strange selection hard to understand logic in playing teague in front of jackson smith russell etc

teagues last game i think.. just hasn't been able to be accountable... i guess its his last game for the blues if any clubb... hopefully he goes out on a high. GO BLUES

Also, I think this will be Teague's 50th game. May be getting him to achieve this milestone.

While he's contracted for 2007, that doesn't mean he won't quit the game at its highest level - it's not like he has a future in it.

He'd make a magnificent leader for the Bullants if he wanted to stay in Melbourne. The guy has no fear and will take a bullet for the team - that's a great example for young kids. His lack of pace and height aren't such a big deal in the VFL, as Harford has proven.
