[Silent Alarm]

I liked the picture in the 'West. The lighting made the Eagle head look like gradient. Despite my usual disdain for gradient, personally I enjoyed the look - a modern altercation to a classic design.

The removal of the white piping gives a real retro touch. It's like the old woolen jumper.

The main gripe with the new logo is obvious: the unnecessary navy outline. Three colours are enough for a footy jumper. Four murks the overall look, and identity, of the strip. Simply put, it just looks weird.

On the clash, I can't see it going awfully soon. It sells very well. Conversely, their 25th anniversary Peril is also very popular. I'm sure with the subtraction of cluttered names, the implementation of the modern Eagle head, and consistent usage (ala, for usage as an away or clash), it would be a hit - for the varying WC demographics.

So do I. I honestly don't mind it much, it looks really tough and bold Although I do still think FXD's looks better and is more logical. That's probably why they didn't pick this one though

We said Essendons sash was too curved - they made it completely straight.

We said we didn't want white outlines (on numbers and wings) they completely take it off, even though it looks shit.

Not impressed. There will probably be a yellow with blue wings, blue head, no outlines. The idea is probably to keep them unison, but it just doesn't look good royal head on royal without outlines.

The wings should also be bigger, they're looking very skinny.

I would have thought if one jumper was going to be screwed with it would have been the home jumper.

Still like the away jumper 100 times more then the home. Really should be scrapped as West Coast Eagles are the wings on their jumper, it is their symbol and to not have it on the home jumper is strange.

Thought the Yellow jumper might have made am appearance somewhere.

The problem with the new blue-with-yellow-wings jumper is the eagle's head has been modified.

Take away the wing and you get the head, which includes the navy blue. For those who prefer royal to navy blue, here's what the logo should be:

infact go one step further. make this your logo. would move you lot away from having a wide logo and be more in unison with the others on the afl site.

At first I wasn't too sure what to think, but now it's grown on me, I like it . as PAFC said, it has a bold feel to it, I think it will look much better in action too.
