Saw this and all I could think about was how small the shorts were and Kade Simpson reminds me a lot of David Glascott. Also it's a good thing shoulder strapping wasn't in vogue back then because Alex Marcou would be in a lot of pain when it came off.

Now that's an arch rival, the SFL virtually killed us off as they didn't like the WAFA teams (Saints and Roos) coming in and being power clubs.

A huge day for Ditchburn. Unfortunately I didn't get to witness it live as I was visiting my terminally ill grandfather in hospital that day.

Ditchburn started off relatively slow in '82 & then went into overdrive in the 2nd half of the season. Such a beautiful kick for goal.
