I might possibly be wrong. It's all a matter of taste. I'm South Australian, so I tend to stick to SA wine. Ok, maybe that's blind parochialism? Perhaps the ones I tried when over there weren't the better ones? Admittedly I only made a couple of trips to Yering and Coldstream, so I can't say I know much about teh region. I'm led to believe though that former Port Adelaide footballer, 'Sticks" Dolan has a winery up there somewhere?Originally posted by Katthawk

For the record I did find a decent couple of wineries over there, at Scotchman's Hill and kilgour estates, near Port Arlington, outside Geelong. The Scotchman's Hill reds were very nice.
Now , isn't it nice to see civilised discussion here? Shall I count in the trolls, or would you like to?
