How do you think we have fared so far this year
how happy are you with our position
i, for one, am extrmely happy with where we are at considering we play 6 of the bottom 7 in our last 11 games and 9 of the bottom 11 (considering hawthorn are there, i am quite happy we aren;t playing them again)
We have some key inclusions with warnock coming in whioch shuld allow kreuzer to go foward more often and walker coming in who shoudl give plenty to the team.(i know they might not play thi8s year, but gee you'd hope they would)
So do you rate our season so far
Very happy
Reasonably Happy
Ordinary (not in a bad way, rather not good or bad, expected)
Dissapointed

7/10 after tonight

Huge loses against Freo/Essendon

next week is our biggest game in the last 5 years

If we win you can not comprehend how much this could change our season and belief

To be honest im a bit disappointed. All of our wins have been convincing (some more then others) but our losses have all been VERY hard to swallow for different reasons.

4 point loss to Essendon in a game we should have won
Coached out of the game against the Swans
Lost by a layer of paint against Hawthorn
Horrible effort against Fremantle who didnt even play great themselves
Embarassing against Adelaide, tactically woeful in the first half

6 from our first 11 is expected - sitting in 4th as a result is a nice surprise. How happy am i? How far have we come? Ask me after NEXT week.

As expected for me... Just ahead on win /loss ledger. Form is up and down. Still trying to get the right mix....FWD/BK
The even comp is why we sit 4th. with a win loss of 6-5

Maybe im harsh but...
Lost a few we should have won Essendon,Freo. Would of liked better performances against those that have beaten us both on field and in the box ie Crows, Swans (didnt expect to beat these 2, but the games were piss poor.

Havent taken a big scalp yet to announce ourselves, this week we get our chance.

A win over the saints this week and my vote would change to very happy (3 in a row, breaking the saints run, 7-5)A good show against the Saints is EXPECTED.

.:thumbsu:

the losses we have had - it is not that we lost but how we lost that has me disappointed
We just have to get our mind sets better prepared. Where we are at is good but we should have been better.

Getting there, and a 6/5 record after 11 rounds is ok. Could have been better had our kicking been better, yet we still find ourselves in 4th spot. Massive game next week, and can we do what most others think we can't? I think we can, but we'd have to play to our absolute best.

We'd have to play a hell of a lot better than we did tonight - and stick our bloody tackles again. We had a countless number of piss weak, inaffecttive tackle attempts both early and late last night, Brizzy weren't good enough to make us pay - the Aints will.

expected, although if we had beaten the Hawks we would of been in a much better position

6/5 is not good enough.

Essendon / Hawthorn losses were rubbish and we should never had lost them.

Freo match we were never going to win as they blew us off the park.

Should be 7/4 or 8/3 at worst

Very happy - start of the year happy if we played finals and given the run home we should!

Got to remember where we've come from and where we are now - and we've come a loooong way in the last 2 years. In 2006 & 2007 we won 8 games combined. Halfway through 2009 and we've won 6.

Young guys improving a lot - Hammer, Kruz, Jamo, Bower, Joseph (fantastic), Gibbs, Murphy, Army (great last night and his kicking has come a long way in the last month), and a few others.

Forward line - Am a bit worried about the forward structure - still rely on Fev too heavily. Although I don't think Fish is a "second" forward he should be doing more. Still a glaring hole for a second forward. Tried Setanta last night, but he doesn't seem to play as a "marking" forward which is what we need.

Accountability - midfield sometimes not as accountable as it should be.

Backline - Greatest achievement. These guys have built a solid backline (has helped that the ball doesn't flood down there as much). Thornton is underrated IMHO, yes he makes mistakes but so does Judd. Thornton often takes a player bigger than him and almost always does well. Bower has come a long way, Brennan kicked a few on him last night, but they were pretty freakish goals. Bower also lifts when we want him to. Jamo is doing a great job, people say he's been down a bit lately but still getting good results and forwards struggle on him

Looking for an option between Expected and Dissapointed.
But I'm probably being too harsh.

Not too harsh at all. Would have been close to season over if Brisbane had got up - and twas way too close for comfort. Hard to call that "expected".

Attitude: 7.5/10
Performance: 2/10
Talent: 9.9/10
Upside 11/10

Good progress this year, but won't be content until we're dominating the entire competition and clocking up a few more flags i.e. as it should be. :)

Happy that we are sitting 4th....had a couple of disappointing losses eg Essendong and Hawks...our future is bright no doubt, i would be happy if we make the 8 and play finals and next year take the next big step....salivating at the prospect.
