Things Are Looking Good For The Future

That's a really nice speach and all, RT and I agree we do have some promising kids but a lot people shouldn't go inking them into their future sides just yet. A lot are unproven and by the process of elimination a fair few will fail.

Our list still has a lot of holes and a long way to go. I just hope the ferals don't go burning down Punt Road next year when we again likely finish bottom 4 or bottom 6 given the lack of quality senior players.

I never said anything about inking them into our next finals side and also mentioned that I'm well aware that there is a fair way to go before we are up there competing for a flag.

The point of this was to just highlight that from where we were 12 weeks ago (0-9 heading into round 10) and how we can now look forward with a bit of confidence. Right now I only have around 6 players from our current list as being good enough to be in our next GF side. Doesn't mean there aren't another 6 already on the list though.

I think we will go alright next year. We might get off to a slow start but we should end up with 10 wins if we dont get many big injuries. And of course Big Griffiths helps out Jack a bit more.

I hope we don't go ferral if we don't make the 8 next year.

I want us to make the 8 without playing out of our skins and if that means another 2 years,so be it.
