Absolutely true.

Win the premipership and we get 16 then (depending on priority picks - presuming Carlton and Essendon both get one), pick 34, 50, 66 etc.

Carlton will get 1, 17,19, 35 51 etc.

Essendon will get 2,18,20,30,52 etc.

Are you sure?

Yes. In 2003 we finished round 22 in 5th but were 7th after the finals and got pick 12 (Murphy), the eagles finished 8th and got pick 11 (Beau Waters).

Hopefully there are some quality midfielders still available at pick 16 this year.

hopefully another pavlich situation where people overlook a top midfielder due to some injury but we get him etc...
