Pinch me. Looking at the program at the start of the year - WC at AAMI, CW at the Dome, Power at AAMI and Sydney at the SCG - I thought if we had 1 or 2 wins we would be doing well but to have 3 and a close loss - well its better than I ever expected. Now for the Doggies at Telstra.

Great win for the club, and the scary thing is we didn't play anywhere near good enough as against the Power.

Not at all.

It depends who you've played.

We've just beaten 2 previous top 4 teams. You can't say the same for richmond - their tests are ahead of them.

Pfft, Richmond have played nobody. They snuck over the line against the 15th and 14th placed teams from last year and beat Freo in Melbourne, who , judging from the last 3 weeks, are the most mentally soft team in the comp. When they came up against quality like Geelong they got smashed. Watch them come back to earth against the Saints and the Power in the next 2 weeks.

Ah, did you think West Coast, Collingwood (A), Power and Sydney (A) was a walk in the park. Christ, we could have been 2-7 or thereabouts.

I was expecting a 2-2 start in the 1st 4 games, so to win 3 games (2 by big margins & hang on in a close one) + narrow loss is a great start.

Still a long way to go though!

Realisticity I was expecting a 1-3 in the first 4 rounds but 3-1 sounds a lot better, I can't see a much tougher draw ahead, just look at the Top 2, we 3rd don't look at the Top 4, or The Eight.

We're on course to have a good year in 05.

At the start of the year a lot of posters predicted we would be 1-3 and would be very happy with 2-2 record.

Well we are ahead of that and while its still VERY early in the season, I am stoked that we are 3-1 after 4 rounds. When you look at it we really should have been 4-0. We led against West Coast all day just to lose it in the last 5 minutes.

Scary thing is that if he had a genuine gun key forward we would be a LOT better side. "Backbone players" in Mattner, Doughty, Perrie, Skipworth, Hentschel, Rutten etc are all playing well and we are not relying on the likes of Roo, Goody, Edwards and McLeod to win games. Today's win was set up by 2nd tier players while the stars had quite days by their standards.

Great start to the season by us, i was definately expecting to be around the 2-2 margin right now but beating Port and Sydney is great.

Agree with you Stiffy that we should be 4-0 and be... first (omg lol)

Definately need to beat the Bulldogs this coming week, need to get as many wins under our belt early and really be set in a position for the finals. I liked Craigs comments once again today not getting to far ahead of himself and telling it how it is, "We have set our goal to make the finals" that we have
