Everyone around me was hugging strangers....was hilarious. When it was called out of bounds everyone was like "why am I hugging this person". It was like someone turned the lights on and you realised your partner wasn't looking so flash

unbelievable!!!! i was on the phone to my dad in sydney at the time and was screaming saying "goal of the year!!!!!!".... couldnt believe Thomas got robbed, but then again after the third quarter, it doesn't surprise me. I'll still consider it the best goal this year. Haven't seen something like that since the 80's from you now who...

I'm unsure as to whether it was in or out, but it was great play either way. Luckily, after the shit that went down in the 3rd quarter, we managed to turn things around and win!

You have to have played 10 games or less at the start of the season, IIRC.

Thomas played over 10 games last season making him ineligible in 07, whilst Pendles played less than 10 making him eligible for the NAB Rising Star 07.

Was sitting behind the city end goals with all the other Pies members. People went wild and someones beer flew up over the crowd but everyone was too busy going nuts to react to it.

When it was called back it was stunned silence. About 20 seconds later it was all cheering again when that moron Saints player rushed the ball to give us the lead.

yer right, i get the feelin you might have been eating one too many paddys from macker's at the time... don't know if you're aware, but the ball has to be over the line to be out... there wasn't one shot that showed the ball over the line
