They don't like us. Generally people that post here get banned over there. There's no logical reason why because we're all Port Adelaide supporters but they have a holier than thou attitude.

Yeah, nothing against them - but they dont like us.

Been banned over there, sent them multiple emails trying to understand why - and apologizing for anything I possibly could have done. But no reply, nothing.

Even had other members ask for me, they were also banned.

Weird bunch of people.

Yeah, it's funny. I've been a member there for years but hardly even stop by there these days ... it's far better here. It's nice to have an alternative though.

Because you barrack for the bays that was easy, next. How is this relevant though unless we are talking Magpie away games?

A lot of people including myself have been banned from there just for posting on both boards. I posted there before here and I think I was banned from there just for asking why they are so purposefully split and why you couldn't even type bigfooty. There is some pathetic internet rivalry going on I think. They probably think "bigfooty is for stupid people" or something when really the Port board has a good group of people that they could help really boost. Plus hey, the internet is 'everything' now with social media and all that, the bigger our fan base appears to be on and offline the better it will surely be for the club.
 
I joined there 3 years before Big Footy and had no problems until REH revealed my identity (different user name) and I have been perma banned ever since.

I should be angry at REH but I just can't be bothered as it hasn't affected my life in any way.

They monitor the Port board on big footy very closely you can all rest assured of that.
 
I also got pumped by the banning rod there. Not sure what I did either. No reply, no response. Its a pity because I got along really well with Vi for a long time.
 
It's probably best you don't go over there and read the forums sometimes, the place is a side show. There's a tandem that would make you believe the first 30 minutes of Bad Boy Bubby could happen in real life.

Anyway, they have two cheer squads because certain members of each don't get along. Talk about dysfunctional. BigFooty's overall discussion and knowledgeable posters is 10x of what they have :)

yea, I made some reference to them on here and was banned ... I sent emails but no-one ever replied ... ah well :D

Hahah. Yeah, they are the definition of 'If the club shits on a plate it must be chocolate' supporters. There's supporting your club and then there's pig blind refusal to take off the rose coloured glasses.

I much prefer here where the occasional crows troll aside you can converse with opposition fans in an intelligent fashion without someone having a tantrum. And the Port supporters here are better anyway ;)

Its another forum for specific Port Adelaide conversational.

Wouldnt worry about it to be honest, horrible place.

Every single person I have met from here is a dead set legend.
 
Don't mind it in the main - how could I not when I'm top of the tree in the quiz section - but do find I'm more shocked by opinions on team matters there than here.

My biggest criticism is the intermittent access to the massively excellent Port Adelaide database they have compiled on every player to wear the colours.

Was told it was often taken down because it was often plagiarised without due credit/linkage, but hey, it's the Internet and the similarly fantastic Blueseum is up 24/7/365.

Any chance we as the Port Adelaide Nation get to spread the gospel of our club and its glorious history to the widest possible audience would be preferable in my book.
 
The club should purchase the database off them or look at researching their own. Its ridiculous to have a complete database of our club that noone is allowed to look at.

I was banned once for which I received a delayed apology. I have begun checking in there weekly because of its affiliation with the Outer Army and I rationalise it that both work hard to support our club. But I agree with Andre where he said the approach 'If the club shits on a plate it must be chocolate' is problematic.
 
Let's keep the discussion general and not slag off any of the posters over there
