I think it's problamatic that most of these Extremists have nothing much else, they don't get the education, they have no money, must be easy for 'recruiters' to walk up to the kids and offer them a weapon and a better way of life.

Maybe the U.S and the rest of the collition should put in some money here, instead of bombing the ******** out of them.

My daughter goes to Northcote High. She was telling me about some idiot who tried to blow up the skool bus and burnt their lips on the exhaust pipe. Not you was it bud ?

But did it succed in blowing up the Bus?.Or did it's lips get 2 burnt and it gave up.

It makes me sick the level of discrimination the everyday muslims have suffered since September 11. I have no problem what so ever with Muslims - it's just the extremists and fundamentalists that are the evil, delusional, sick twisted scum.

Nor I Nick, and as an American living in Oz I've had the opportunity to live in Lakemba (Sydney) for 4 years and have many friends & co workers who are Muslim.

Extremists are extremists, and every religion has their own secular divides.

I take people as they are, and sort the assholes from the individuals on a case by case basis.

I sympathise with the plight of the mild/moderate set who try to live normal lives but unfortunately get caught up by their traditional garb making them more noticeable.

I can notice (working in Auburn) a more noticeable trend in nationalistic speak than religious on occassions though.

All fundamentalists and extremists are bad news for the world. Muslim, Christian, Jewish and other smaller denomination religions each have bad representatives that have created great problems for the world, if not so much now, in the past.

Look at the massacres committed by the Conquistadors in South America acting "in the name of Catholicism", the Jews in the Gaza Strip and Palestine and the Muslim airplane and building attacks. Don't forget all the crackpot religions like David Koresh, Aum Supreme truth and Jim Jones in Guyana.

The common thread on all is money and controlling people, its just the God that varies.

they didnt go and target innocent bystanders unlike the people from "your" country, dude i think you need to better understand the situations before you comment.
