Is there a way where Crows supporters can sit together? I don't care where I sit but honestly, I don't think I could handle being surrounded by Collingwood fans. Surely there's a way where I can be surrounded by a group of Crows fans?

If you're a member they presumably put them in allocated bays, the majority of Essendon supporters from Victoria were all in the one bay under the superscreen, just around from their cheersquad. I've never been to an away final where I haven't sat among mostly our fans.

yeh finals (being neutral venues and all) are always set up in bays. you'll be fine, Drum.

Awesome, thanks. :thumbsu:

I mean it's not as though I wouldn't go if I had to sit near Pies fans but I've sat amongst a group of them before and it wasn't ecxactly a heap of fun.

I've got my plane flights all sorted so just need tickets!

how much did you get them for?

looks like 108 is the cheapest I can find

Yeah I'm wondering about flights as well. Keen to head over but the prices I've seen are a bit rich. If we make the GF I'm there at any price though. Any ****ing price.

Thanks cap :P

Anyway I've confirmed an insane road trip next weekend. Leaving Saturday morning, go to game, drive back to Horsham, stay o/night in Horsham, then drive home Sunday.

For those looking for cheap accommodation, Quickbeds has some hostels for under $100, whilst Hotel Formulae 1 (Accor's el-cheapo chain) is about $105 on the Saturday night.

Just had a look at the MCG map on the Ticketek website - http://premier.ticketek.com.au/Content/pdf/Maps/MCG_WeeksOnetoThree2009.pdf.

Unless you want to sit in the nosebleeds, be prepared to pay $70.

Bar the bays directly behind the goals (M3 for Adelaide, of which a fair chunk would be set aside for the cheer squad) - which is Standard, or the front two thirds of M1-5 for Adelaide, which is Prime, ALL of Levels M, N, P is classed as 'Premium' seating (IMO calling Level P 'Premium' would be borderline at best).

Front half of Level Q is Prime (IMO that is VERY debatable).

Back half of Level Q (ie the real nosebleeds) is Standard.

this is how the afl got away with susposidely not putting prices up, instead they increased the areas of premium, making less cheaper seats

We're busing over Friday evening, staying overnight Saturday and busing back Sunday 11am approx. It's a organized trip through a private travel agent whom we went over with for the 07 EF and had a great time. They got an add in the sports section of the today.

How much are the above?
I'm going to call for tickets Monday instead of going online to ensure I can confirm the seats are in Adelaide supporter aisles.

Oh whoops sorry I should have checked that first.

So do the ticket prices go up every week of finals!? Meh still cheaper than the $60 bucks we paid for last night.

Actually premium goes up to $69.70 this week. I hear reports Premium PF tickets will be around the $90 mark.

I guess people with three more games in Melbourne (if we make the GF) are going to have to decide can they afford all three do they miss this week and hope we make the PF, as those ticket prices are beyond ridiculous.

Even for myself who lives in Melbourne it starting to look expensive, Ive already ruled out the GF just way beyond my budget Im afraid, this week will be fine as its just myself and my daughter going, but the week after my wife and I would be looking at upto $180:eek:

I don't think I could even get GF tickets as a Silver Member, so prices for GF haven't even crossed my mind. =D

I can't think a week ahead, Ill pay and plan for this week and if we win Ill worry about next week then. I refused to talk about SF before the game yesterday no matter how much I wanted to. :o

When do general public tickets go on sale, and can I ensure I am in a Crow's supporter area for general public? I have everything sorted next week except the ticket.

I am assuming there is no chance of this selling out. Although when I went to the prelim v Collingwood in 2002 there were almost 90,000 there from memory.

I'd love to go but I am off to Sydney next week so its a no go. With 3 possible finals in Melbourne, I think I will hold out for the GF...JIC. I couldn't afford to go to the Prelim and the GF and I know which one i'd rather go to!!:thumbsu:
