I'm a little disappointed to see him go, especially for a low price. For his flaws he was still an exciting player to watch. But overall I don't mind that we accepted a late pick for him to get to the club of choice without having to go through the uncertainty of the drafts. There have been a few of these types of goodwill trades in recent years by a few clubs. I like the way that in all the madness of the meat market that is trade week, clubs can still show some respect to players in this way.The Morton trade was a win for both parties. If there are footy gods, we did them right by getting him to his club of choice/the only one that was interested and not putting him through the uncertainty of PSD/ND.
