curious to what blues fans think of him. could be possible trade bait at the end of the season and i just feel he'd go alright with the blues

He's not capable of playing as a genuine CHF in my opinion and we already have Fisher as a third tall. I'm not saying he wouldn't be a good pick up for another club but I don't think we should actively chase him.

Need to remember he will more than likely be coming off a GF appearance. If they lose I reckon he'd want another crack. If they win I reckon he might like another taste of the same. It will certainly influence his decision making re: future club, but why would anyone leave a club on the cusp of big things?

Seeing as we already have Jake Edwards, who is basically the same type of forward as Tim Boyle already on our list, I would say no. We need a forward who can crash the pack and bring the ball to ground.

Agree, get Q.Lynch if we can, crash the packs can kick a long ball and will keep on busting his guts.

I'd rather get Lance Whitnall back than get him...and thats saying something!
Darren Pfeiffer you effing beauty... now thats saying something... Obviously no idea about roles and structure Lynch doing the bullocking work as Spalding used to when we had real structure and were very succesful would really compliment and help Fev,Fisher, Betts and Kreuzer and open the door for these to get extra opportunities via crumbs or taking the 2nd big backmen behind Fev and allowing Fisher and Kreuzer to get better match ups.

Lynch has a motor that will allow him to push up the ground and demand his defender to go with him because he can thump a ball.

You guys beat me!
We win, all you talk about is who we can get as a trade from other club.
We lose, and all you talk about is who's no bloody good in our team and how we should get rid of them.
Some of the great coaches always found a positive in any problem......say...."if you can't say something good about something, say nothing". That way you are forced to find the positives and that's the type of supporter all clubs would like.
It never ceases to amaze me that some always know what to do with a player and how to treat him, when in fact they don't know him, don't know the circumstances, don't know the game plan etc.
Why not try and talk about serious AFL industry issues.
Say: The playing time loss from the time keepers or your thoughts on the "inter change system"

I was at the rooms a few weeks ago and saw Jesus Christ in the rooms.
I asked one of the coaches are we likely to get him in a trade.
He said, more than likely.
I said, if we get him where will he play.
He didn't reply, but indicated that Fevola would be playing at CHF.
This is true because when I woke up I felt like I had been on Big Footy!!!!

I hope those last few lines are your black sense of humour PeeKay!
I'm one of the lucky supporters. I joined the first Social Club in 1964 and watched some terrible games for a few years. Then in 1968 watched them win our first "flag" for over 20 years.
I have been lucky enough to be at the ground to see the 8 Premierships and I think only some Hawks supporters could get anywhere equalling that.
Therefore, I feel very fortunate that I been there to see all the great moments. In those days we had to drink our beer cans so we could stand on them to see. Then since you couldn't get out for a p#ss you would use the cans. What a bloody nuisence. The more we drank, the more we p#ssed and the the higher we got. The higher we got on the cans the drunker we got. So in the end, the Blues would kick a great goal. We got excited and we would fall from a great height. The p#ss would pour out and run down the concrete under everyone's feet. Ahh, those were the days.
Get rid of the seats and bring back the "old days" when we were all positive about all of our players, good, bad or champions.
I have now been around long enough to know that this years "bloody no good player" is next years "what will we do without him, what a champion"

If you want to discuss those issues go post on the AFL thread or ring the AFL as this is the carlton board why would people discuss issues the AFL should be working out and not carlton issues or opinions etc.

And what are we?
