Serious? That's a shame. I'm really not keen to take another one of those guys who plays key forward in lower comps but then needs to be second or third fiddle at AFL level. We already have Siposs and Lee. And picking up Sydney's castoffs doesn't end up well for us. He better not be TDL mark 2.

I said soon, people think were getting guys like Crameri or Membrey instead of a KPF so are going on about how "he's not the answer!!!". Were looking longterm and just trying to fill all the pieces as we can get them. Obviously were going to try to bring in an A grade kpf or two and when we find them these medium types will be getting mismatches. Thats why I said were going hard at Wright and Reid this year.

St Kilda offered up its first-round draft pick, No.12, to the Giants in return for Lee and picks 24 and 43.


So that is 3 players in Lee, Wright and Saunders for pick 12.

Don't think Membrey gets pick 12 by any means but a 2nd rounder isn't out of the question.

A one gamer is not worth an early 2nd round selection. There will be good picks in the main draft, and so will not go on Membrey.

Not saying they were crazy to do it, just that it was done. Pick 12 netted Jaksch from memory, who is already on the way out of the Giants and you'll possibly get him back for less.

Am I saying Membrey is worth a second round pick? No. I'm not. Just saying there is every chance that is what he goes for.

As Swans posters have stated a 4th round pick is useless for them so there's no point as they probably wouldn't use it.

I seriously doubt the Saints would do that. Our 4th is the best I think you will get if Membrey nominates us. It's only a couple picks after where your 3rd so it's not as bad as it sounds.

Which will put it in the 50s. with our academy and rookiee upgrades unlikely we will use that pick. Really hope we look to more 6-10 spots up in rookie ala Evereitt trade last year

Probably. But hoping we hold out til the last to see if we can't get a pick under 30 in the draft. If no a deal on the last Friday for a token pick.
