After the most recent attacks of small children and adults it is time the government removes all dingoes from fraser island.

In the most recent one a 14 month old was dragged from a camper trailer and taken several metres before crys were heard and the young child was saved from a pack dingoes.

Their recieved puncture wounds and flown to hospital but the result could have been so much worse.

How long will the government continue to just sit back and do nothing if this was someones pet that had done this it would be put down , if this was a crocodile it would be put down , if this was a shark it would be put down.

What makes an introduced species such as a dingo so special that they cannot be either removed or destroyed when they attack humans?

Time is now up the dingoes on fraser island have clearly become brazen and aggressive towards small adults and children to the point where they dont fear them.

The simple message given by the government of keeping your children close is not enough.

Time to open up your eyes and remove aggressive dingoes from the island.

Being on an island would make them genetically unique so I'm guessing they are somewhat protected. Sharks and crocodiles are different because they can roam around. If we destroyed every aggressive or dangerous animal in Aus we wouldn't have any wildlife.

Humans initially saw them as cute little dogs and fed them food. Consequences aren't so flash.

Exactly, can you imagine bringing very young children on a camping trip to Fraser Island. Tourism might not have the guts to advise as much, but with all the dingo attack history on that island, you'd have to be out of your mind to bring a young child there. Not the fault of the dingo. Simples.

If they hunt in large packs, then fair enough, cull. The attacks on older children and adults are unnerving, but more manageable.

This is what annoys me, people just need to be made aware of the risks. It's like banning cars because some people lock their small kids in them on hot days.
They are constantly told ,this child was dragged out of a camper. Banning cars thats ridiculous and not even anywhere near the same thing. The government decided to take their only large food source off of the island when they got rid of the brumbies. Clearly by their skinny condition they are struggling to survive on the small amount of native foods. Attacks will become more regular and ignorant views and a lack of action won't help the next victims.
