Righto get out ya crystal balls....no offence ladies.

Who do you think will make All Australian selection?

1. Tippett
2. Goodwin
3. Johncock

For me, no surprises with Tippett but it probably wont be Full Forward as BBBBB Hall will kick a ton this year - barring lockup or injury.
Bit of smoky... but I just think Goodwin will command a lot of backplay this year and it may get us into the top four.
With 300 games coming up he hasnt got much time left to be a Cup-raising Captain. Again injury could stop him.
Stiffy will have a blinder this year:confused:;)Ive a lot of faith he has turned the corner.

lol barry is no chance to kick a tonne.

but yes, for me none of those players will make it.

it'll be vince, and maybe dangerfield if he comes on like i am expecting.

Tippy and D-Mac.
I think Vince might struggle with a close tag for a while, Goody if he plays 22 games is a very strong chance but I cant help but feel he will miss a few games here and there through injuries.

I never thought of Bock.
If he does make it we will have had a good year.

I also think Vince will be played close attention but he doesnt need too many chances to make an impact. Would have to kick 30+ goals.

So how many do you think Hall will kick Chunky one?:p

If Bock can keep fit during the year then he must be a sure thing for the CHB position. Vince would be a good chance if he can handle the tags well but you gotta remember that he's competing against the likes of GAJ, Bartel, Selwood, Chapman, NDS, Montagna, Judd, Murphy etc. so he'll have to play very well this year to earn his spot.

Bock for CHB. If he gets back to his normal good form he's the best CHB going around.

Mackay as a wingman is a genuine chance. Has that drop of class necessary to be an AA and is taking a step up to the next level each year.

Knights as a HFF is another chance. On song there is no better HFF in the comp.

Tippett a wild chance if he can head the goal-kicking list.

One year too early for Dangerfield IMO as there are too many gold-plated mid-fielders going around for Danger to displace in his first year in that trade.

Good thing about our side is we could have no AA players yet finish top 4 because we are so even.

But I think Bock could get there again. Vince will find it hard getting in - midfield is always really tough for selection when you have guys like ablett, selwood, swan, bartel, selwood, Dal Santo etc. I think they could keep Vince out of there again this year.

Tippet I think will at least make the initial squad of 40. And Knights as a smokey....

Bock is our best chance. If he is fit and firing he will slot in the CHB position.

It's hard to see Tippet being chosen over the fowards such as brown, Roo, Fev etc.

Johncock and Thompson, even in their best seasons, haven't been included so I wouldn't think they would get in. Rutten is probably rated behind Scarlett and Bock behind Bolton so I can't see them jumping the universally agreed () pecking order.

Vince, Knights, Porplyzia and Tippett are the ones. They really came under notice from the wider competition last season and will therefore be on the radar this season. There tends to be a 12 month lag on AA selection (ie Andrew McLeod 97/98). For this reason Mackay would only be a chance 2011, no matter how well he plays this season.

Is predicting four greedy? Or overly optimistic? Probably, but who cares.

If you guys make the top 4;
Bock, Vince, McKay,
If you guys dont make the top 4;
McKay.

Best of luck for 20 games this season?
thanks for that
nice to know you agree that we dont need luck to beat you :p
ps. what Stewart did Trengove hit?
if Paul i dont care
if Daniel, then I'll hate the guy almost as much as Cornes

Bock and Vince for mine, Tippett as a smokey.

Can't see anyone else getting in unless one of Johncock or Thompson have an incredible year. The likes of Mackay and Dangerfield are no hope - the AA committee seems to wait until a player has been a gun for a year before they decide to take some notice of them in the next season.

Bock, Porps, Goody, Johncock & Vince all have a chance. Bock is definitely a certainty...just has to stay fit and no more slapping people! Tippett's a gun, but can't see him beating Riewoldt, Brown, Hall, Pavlich, etc.

Agree with most of that. In order of likelihood:
Bock, Vince, Johncock, Goodwin, Porplyzia

Yeah it was Daniel, He (Jackson) is the type of player Port suporters will love and opposition supporters will hate, the Bary Hall, Byron Picket school of hard at the Body and intimidating.

He is going to be big, He is going to hurt People, he is going to be reported, he is going to be clumsy, but he is going to bleed for the club.

Instant Cult Figure!
