I'd say the reverse. Tinder is instant gratification dating. You get a match with someone and before exchanging a word, you both already know you're attracted to each other on a physical level.I think he means not organic. Like seeing somebody at a pub you might share a smile, have a dance etc. You can build a connection quickly. Tinder is an extra step. On Tinder you have to share photos, arrange a meeting etc before you get to that point.
Compared to meeting in real life there's very little investment of time in in terms of feeling each other out, building of trust, establishing rapport, etc. before stepping into the romantic / sexualised situation of a date. It's just bam, you're in.
Extremely efficient in terms of hooking up, but not a great way to go about building a relationship I'd have thought. I mean, I am sure some good relationships come out of it but I imagine that's in spite of the meeting process rather than because of it.
