Article today on the AFL site discussing the WA combine and players to up for the draft had Darling going as a mid 2nd rounder.
If he was there at 26 surely we would pull the trigger.
Gaff, Darling and Pestia / Green would be ausomo.
Would be surprised if he slid this far. Melbourne, Lions, Carlton and GC would all be looking at a FF.

Jack Darling: From being the most touted player after the 2009 season, Darling went backwards in 2010. His performances as a goalkicker for West Perth and the WA under-18 team fluctuated, but in his favour, his rampant competitiveness was still evident. He should have done enough to go in the mid-20s in the national draft.
Blayne Wilson: Like Darling, Wilson made the All-Australian team after the 2009 national under-18 carnival, but his star has faded this season. Wilson is seen as a one-dimensional half-back. He might be lucky to be taken in the national draft.

Isiaih Stevens: The exciting medium forward recorded a fast 2.88 in the sprint at the WA combine, but his leap was phenomenal. His 1.01 metres in the running vertical jump equalled that of Nic Natainui in 2008, and would have easily won the day at this year’s national draft combine, where the best was 88cm (Vic Metro pair Kieran Harper and Brad Harvey).
Hayden Yarran: A small forward like his cousin, Carlton’s Chris Yarran, is among the best of the many WA small forwards who are hoping to be drafted. He’s capable of leading and crumbing, like Mark LeCras.
