That's probably fairer to GWS than previous efforts though it doesn't give us much chance of getting GHS?

Have GWS got a pick in the 20s we could get in return for pick 19? It's not like they will be using their later picks surely (wouldn't it be nice to call a pick in the 20s one of your 'later' picks)

One Nicky flog even said Tippett is barely worth 22. It baffles the mind the stupidity over there!

Why would we get Giles included? Last time I checked GWS wasn't a non-for-profit charity run only to benefit the crows.

We give Sydney Mitchell and 22 for 3. We then also give GWS pick 19 for Giles. I'd almost say thats over for Giles considering what they're paying him.

It's massive overs for Giles. Our 2nd round pick is probably fair pickings for Giles.

I agree. But if we ended up with 3 and Giles I wouldn't care.

Its lucky we're not dealing with Sydneys BF posters. They honestly think Mitchell is worth more then Tippett by himself. A young mid, struck down early by injuries and who hasn't played a single AFL game yet.

I'm just not sure we'd be happy with pick 3 for Tippett. Also would depend on whether GWS rates Mitchell as better than what they could get for pick 3 in the draft.

I know what you're saying and Port supporters will say they had excess ruckmen but seriously the kid was a great tap ruckman for Centrals in the SANFL. It was clear once he put meat on he was going to be a very good ruckman. Hence why I mentioned it was very short sighted.

I can see Jenkins playing forward full time, in a race with Johnston for that position. Giles/Jacobs will be resting in a pocket. Three talls will stretch defences

They don't. I only see Giles as a pure backup for Jacobs if he gets injured. Every club needs a ruckman like this on their list. At this stage Smack misses out too. Jenkins is well in front of him for a position in the 22.

Means just Jacobs, Walker, Jenkins make the team if everyone is fit and based on 2012 form. Of course the form factor can change. Henderson can act as a 3rd tall up forward as well.

Johnston I do not see as AFL level player. I know he did very well at the Roosters but every time I have seen him play at AFL he looks lost and noncompetitive.

Who says they all have to? As long as we have the strongest possible team, the rest of them can rot in the SANFL for all I care.

But in answer to your question.. Walker & Jacobs are best 22 players, no doubt about it. Giles & Jenkins could be playing for the same position.. maybe, depending upon team structure. Either way - may the best player win.
