surely this would have been day 1 if its white and 22?

afc day 1: we dont want white.
afc day 2: we want high picks/quality player
afc day 3-8: same as above
afc day 9: oh look, we can get white and 22!!! winner!

its not like sydney would have been holding back on giving us white as well. they dont even want him.

Well that's it folks get ready to bite hard on that pillow. Yet another epic, spineless AFC fail.

This is the end result of having no strategy other than hoping Sydney would be nice. Presumably we thougt that because we are nice.

Save your breath though as our administration is safely ensconsed at the wespac centre thanks to its corporate structure. No scrutiny, no accountability. The SANFL boys club will sweep this horrible mess under the carpet as always and no one will question them.

We will spit bile for a few weeks but in the end we will front up next year. They teased us with some tough press releases but in the end our well earned reputation as soft touches won through.

Lol if we go down for 22 and white, aka Sydney's starting offer, you have to think its all just been a bit of theatre, that we've just said to Sydney "yeah sure you can bend us over, but can we just wait a week or two and meet for coffee now and then before you bend us over so we can try to give the illusion to the fans who pay us that we resisted"

Does nobody have faith in this great club, the awesome coaching staff and our recruiters? Maybe I am too bias, but nothing would make me hate the club or anything too drastic... At the end if the day, it's just one player... What's the worst that can happen? I know I will probably be shouted down for saying it, but is it possible everyone is over reacting just a little?

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I respect that, but no point getting upset over something that A hasn't happened yet and B if it does happen, it could even turn out OK.

I don't think White's medical exam means too much. It could be that we're just checking out the merchandise to see what happens if we do decide to go down that route.

Or, we might be moving now because we've found a third party interested in becoming part of the trade?

There's nothing wrong with demanding excellence from our club. We're in the business of elite sports - where tiny variances in performance can mean the difference between winning and losing. If we do worse out of our trades on average than other clubs in similar positions, we're really behind the eight ball to win premierships.

However, I agree that it is too premature to hang the club for something that hasn't happened yet. Mind you, it's difficult to be too confident given that we don't exactly have a great recent trading history.

C'mon Stabby, getting a medical means a lot. It's the final piece in any trade.

Certainly if you're going to bring in the player, you'll do a medical.

However, the reverse doesn't necessarily hold.
