And if you think the problems will end at the trade table, you're sadly mistaken.

This sort of weak rubbish sends a message loud and clear about how fair dinkum we are in this competition. How serious we are about winning premierships. Our conduct if true is not just unprofessional, it's bereft of any pride or dignity, and is a slap in the face to everyone associated with the AFC. It is spitting on the work of the players who commit themselves wholly and ruthlessly to the contest on the field. Sando demands uncompromising football from our players, and they are proud players. If we do not act similarly off the field, it could eventually cost us (in large or small part) playing personnel. Culture is everything in this game, top to bottom.

And I wouldn't blame them for leaving a club that conducts itself like this. It's embarrassing. It's disgusting. It's a mockery of them as competitors, and of our coaching staff who put so much into achieving results, only to a have a pissweak set of upper decision makers pull down the pants and bend over for all and sundry. I don't feel like the Adelaide Football Club is serious about winning premierships.

Never been ashamed to be an Adelaide supporter until today. Not good Adelaide. Not good.

Sydney need White off the books to fit Tippett in. There's more to this.
So Sydney are screwing us over the Tippett deal & they want us to do them a further favour. WTF, should we throw in Danger too?

This is getting more delusional by the moment....

How bout we just bend right over fully, pull our pants down and apply the lube and offer the following to get the deal done quickly:

Dangerfield + Tex + Talia + Brodie Smith as steak knives for J White alone.

Accepting pick 23 and/or Jessie White will be the most disgracefully inept effort by the AFC i have ever seen in 21 years.

There's no way we'd trade for just White and 22 if it helped Sydney fit him in the cap. That would be the leverage we'd need to actually get anything decent out of this godforsaken trade.

This whole situation is rubbish anyway. AFC could not have been played into a corner any more than they currently have by Bulcher, Tippett and the Swans.

Must have also been in the gentlemen's agreement...

Nah, you're missing the point. Us taking White off their hands is part of the deal - it's Tippett + salary cap relief for White + 22 + something.

The Smack homesick thing is a go-er too. If he has requested a trade, even if it was before Tippett said he was leaving, our recruitment team will trade him off for something now knowing we have White as the back-up to Jenkins.

We just don't know what the other piece of the puzzle is yet but there is more to the Sydney deal.

Edit: White still being on the books at Sydney ****-blocks them in the PSD too. They want to deal and they need White gone.

Edit 2: We're probably waiting to see what the Knights compo is and will throw that Sydney's way as part of the deal. So we're looking at a player of note - my tip Rohan.

What is this "something", and how can it possibly be of any value to us?

anyone here rowe on aa earlier regarding the clause in muppets contract...was described by the source as like selling your football soul when they resigned him 3 years ago. hope thats refering to the $$ rather than any clause.

**** the Knights compo, shouldn't be more than Tippett for 22 + Rohan + White.

Relax mate, we can't do anything with the Knights compo (likely to be 60+ anyway). We don't have the spots on our list. We'll pick up two in the draft, the third is Callinan upgraded.
