You can choose to believe this or not, at the end of the day I won't care either way but here is some info I received over the weekend.

Tippett's house here in Adelaide has been packed up and the contents arrived in Sydney last week to A house he has either bought or rented. How do I know this? My mate who works for the removal company showed me a copy of the consignment note. He txt me and I called him on it so he photographed the paperwork on his phone and txt it to me as proof. It had both his Adelaide and Sydney address. Before you ask...Yes, he is aware he could be fired & yes, he doesn't think sometimes before he acts. All of this was after being forced to sign a confidentiality agreement as part of being contracted to carry out the move.
It seems as if Tippett will be in Sydney next year.
It would personally give me a great pleasure if AFC ruined those plans and send the bastard to the draft where he gets picked up by Fremantle :D

Adelaide can control which draft Tippett nominates for by their timing of "deleting" him from the list. If they delist him by first list lodgement, it gives Tippett enough time to nominate for the National Draft if he chooses to or chose against nominating for the preseason draft.

Alternatively, if Adelaide do not "delete" him from their list until the 2nd deadline, then he cannot nominate for the national draft and can only nominate for the preseason draft.

So I guess technically, if it comes to it, Tippett can chose not to nominate for National Draft and instead nominate for Pre-season draft, provided Adelaide remove him from their list by the first list lodgement deadline.

Doing the deal this late in the game is not really an issue considering that in the past the trade week went on for 5 days and even then nothing got done before friday anyway :D

God you are a clown. It's not as if I have identified him by posting screenshot of the text, consignment note and his photo for identification purposes.
I heard elsewhere that the booking for the removalist was made 2 weeks before the Hawks game. I haven't raised it because it was 5th hand and I didn't know if it was bullshit. Pity your mate has signed that agreement, would be interesting to know.

WTF?!

The identity of the friend is hardly compromised!

Exactly. Thank you.

Whether we like it or not it seems as of Tippett is playing in Sydney next year. You wouldn't move everything there and take a lease (or potentially buy...He did buy here in Adelaide rather early) if you were threatened with the PSD.

It was made prior to the Hawks game, I can confirm that.

His name isn't Dave Stephenson is it because that's pretty much what I got from your first post and if I got it, I'm sure his employer at Wridgways will have too.

Obviously it is a joke, Dave doesn't work for Wridgways

Even if there is a "clause", if Adelaide choose not to honour it then it would up to Tippett to pursue legal action. This is very unlikely to happen before the PSD. Given the costs involved, the delay factor and the fact that such a clause probably contravenes AFL rules, he'd be crazy to take it to court at all.

Fair chance of this happening methinks. The Swans don't hold all of the cards at all, despite what their supporters and some of the panic merchants believe.
The Swans have to give up something decent for a couple of reasons. Of course the first is to satisfy Adelaide and ensure Kurt doesn't go into the draft.
If it is true that the Swans need to backload his 4 year contract to fit him in, he's in big strife, as if I was heading for the draft I'd want a front loaded contract that would price me out of range of teams with earlier selections.
So, the Swans need to make cap space in case Kurt gets to the draft so he can put the highest price on his head for year one.
Trouble is no one wants to help them out by taking White. And why would they....
In the end, if you want to get anything decent, you have to give up something decent. If the Swans were so hellbent on keeping their premiership team together why even initiate discussions and offer Kurt a contract?
If all they ever had to trade was White and their first rounder, they should have known right at the start that this would not be an acceptable trade.

Nah! Not really!

He will most likely be in Sydney next year. Whether he is a Swan or a Giant remains to be seen ;)

Or he could just be an arrogant twat who thinks that he'll get his own way no matter what

I did quite a lot of furniture removals to pay my way through Uni (long time before hex).
A crew for even a big job would only be 3 men, 4 for a really huge job.
He will hardly be invisible from your post...

2 weeks before the Hawks game was the Sydney game. The plot thickens. In all seriousness if that was the case the guy is a ****ing arseh*le who strung us up. Has there been a bigger prick play for our club?

It really is if Kurt complains to the company --> they know who was working that day.
This is a huge company, the con note is on the tracking system...You don't have to be the grunt lifting furniture to be across what is happening. There is no way it gets traced back to one person unless I specifically mention names. Trust me, he is going to have a job with this company for as long as he chooses to.

Or he's thought he'd get there easy as because of his "agreement" and just went ahead and got a place.

I hope you are right, Dave's wife would leave him if he lost his job
